I guess I'm the only oiler here. Mobil 1 on everything I oil.
The only thing I use grease on is my M1 Garands, M1A and the rails on the SIG 556R (gas piston system keeps the receiver/bolt so clean grease works great).
Last time I was home my CZ 75 Compact was carried around in some -16 F temps Sunday morning. The last few day even around here it's been in the low teens for the morning dog walk and in the low 20's for the afternoon dog walk. I know oil works when the pistol is below freezing. Which it is hanging out there on that drop leg holster.
Edited to add - even two or three weeks after a cleaning/lubing session, when I field strip it the oil is still oil. No drying out/gumming up noticed. My carry guns get handled a lot, get rained on, get dusty/dirty so they get field stripped, wiped/brush down/out and lubed on a regular basis. Despite popular internet wisdom, I haven't worn anything out from keeping it clean/lubed yet.
