About two weeks ago, someone contacted me about classes here in NC. I was to get in touch with a friend who runs classes. Finally got hold of him (he had changed his phone number since we last talked.) He teaches basic NRA safety, NC concealed carry, and is a master-class IDPA shooter, and also shoots IPSC. He's very good and very fast. I can honestly say he has forgotten more than I know, and still knows more than I do.
(He is an ex-sheriff's deputy who is working as an auxiliary to keep his certification.)
