P-07 was lonely

When I bought my P-07 I really went back and forth between it and the P-09. Well today I was finally able to get a P-09 on order. I always told the Mrs. that the P-07 was lonely. I suspect she will commandeer the P-07.

Yes sir. I'm finally glad the wait is almost over.

I shot my P-09 SR for the first time this afternoon and it is singularly the most accurate polymer pistol I've EVER shot. I could say that it is at least as accurate as a SIG P226 (a pistol I find to be a veritable laser).

Astounding. Simply astounding.

That's what I did.  P07 first, then the P09, then another P09, then another P07.  Had one of each in 9MM and .40 S&W.  Let my youngest son have the 9MM P09.  Now I'm thinking about another one.

Update: I was able to swing by my FFL and pick up the P-09. And was somewhat surprised to find that it was configured to SA. Luckily for me I was able to consult the armorer's manual I ordered, studied some videos and made the switch, and not without blundering a couple of times along the way. I just consider that part of the learning curve. I'm thinking really hard about doing the CJW trigger upgrade for both my P-07 and the P-09. I've shot the P-07 enough where the trigger has smoothed out though.

THe CGW Race Hammer alone is worth the investment for the reduction of creep alone IMO. I have almost everything CGW makes for a P-07 trigger assembly, plus polished internals, but that hammer is the key.

Have you measured your trigger pulls on the smoothed out P07?
My P07 pulls were light from the factory compared to the horror story's of other p07s around here.

Texasmojo: No, I have not. However, I have dry fired it a whole lot and I can tell a difference from the time I purchased it though.

Definitely check the trigger pulls.  My old DUTY P07 has a 3&1/4 lb. SA trigger pull and around 8&1/2 lb. DA trigger pull.  I've never had it apart (the frame I mean).  No polishing/stoning done.  Some are put together "just right".
