Is your couger slide sloppy?

I have noticed recently that the slide on my couger .40 has a sloppier fit than what I have noticed before. It is about the same as my Glock and not as snug as the slide on my 92. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

I looked at my Cougar over twice and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

I'll bet it hasn't changed or gotten worse -- you've just become aware of a trait you didn't notice before.
Slides don't usually loosen up -- unless the gun has been abused or has a very high round count, and wear did it.

I got it brand new and it only has about 400rds through it. I just wondered if it could have been made defective but it shot good the other week at the range so I guess I will not worry about it.
