I wonder if these would fit any better?

Apex 10-8 Performance M&P Base Pads - 4 Pack

https://store.apextactical.com/WebDirect/Products/Details/191988

Gap will be the same.
Maybe or maybe not. It depends if the Apex improve on the gap that already exists on the M&P.

Some of the M&P factory fit are worse than others.

Looking at the pic I took of the M&P baseplate on the CZ magazine, the gap is significant. The gap is almost half as thick as the baseplate.

Just like the gap is almost half as thick as the plate on the first two stock M&P photos I posted.

All I'm suggesting is the tolerances *could* vary enough to matter to some people that it would or wouldn't be an issue. I'm willing to admit more than likely I'm wrong, but until we see the Apex actually installed on a CZ mag, it's hard to say.

If you noticed the pictures I just posted, the M&P base plate fit varies *a lot* between individual samples just as the base plate gap varies between p10 samples.

Life's too short to argue on the internet.
Have a nice one.

Not trying to argue Sir. I just think the gap is so significant with the M&P baseplate on the CZ mag, that a baseplate from a different manufacturer who is making them to a similar spec isn't going to look much better. I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong. If I had the extra money I'd be the guinea pig, since I already own both pistols.
