TSO trigger vs TS trigger

Anyone played with both guns? I see they are both the same SAO trigger and look the same. But wondering how they both feel when comparing while shooting. (take up, creep, reset etc..)

TSO hands down! I have one, and have since been able to handle the TS. The TSO would be better in every category you mentioned. If would be nice if you could get your hands on both. That would def let you know.

What's your trigger pull weight on the TSO?

Mechanically the triggers are the same between the TS and TSO; maybe with the hand-fitting of the slide (at least that's what I've read) the trigger is fitted also.  However I've not been able to notice owning and shooting both.

With larger grip, the TS will have a bit longer reach to the trigger.

I have not had any work done and it is 1.1 lbs. That is a little lower than the average for most TSO owners.

I have handled and shot both, probably about 500 rounds through each, and personally did not find any appreciable difference between them.

The biggest difference I found was the frame. The TS has a fatter grip, so I bet that would account for some of the differences in how the trigger will feel to some shooters.

Agreed with above.  Triggers are darn well identical.  I've owned both side by side.

The frame and how it fits your hands is the real difference.  I really like the TSO but you should really hold them both to figure out which one works better for you.

I just got a TSO and have about 200 rounds through it. My trigger pull is at 5.6 ounces which is really confusing to me. I had to add insane amount of pre travel and bend the trigger return spring and sear spring to get me at 10 ounces.

I contacted CZ and told them I was concerned that it?s not normal to be at less than 1/2 pound from the factory and they told me I shouldn?t be concerned and it?s fine!! I?m shocked so I might have to resort to sending it in. And I?m testing with a digital gauge with the gun in a vice and the gauge is confirmed to be accurate since it measures the same as Cajun gun works quoted me on my Shadow 2 I got from them.

But only in 9mm, correct?  I'd definitely want a Blue in .40.

Where you measure the trigger pull can make a big difference, e.g. middle vs. tip of the trigger.

Where you measure the trigger pull can make a big difference, e.g. middle vs. tip of the trigger.

I just went and tested multiple pulls. I am getting about 6 ounces by using the bottom of the trigger and i am getting close to 10 ounces using the top of the trigger. Still both are too light! I tested to see if i was getting any sear to hammer movement when rocking the hammer but i did not see that either.

Someone mentioned increasing the sear engagement on the hammer... i don't know what that means, does anyone have any tips there? I am wondering if the CGW adjustable sear would solve this issue?

That really is scary-light...and frankly a bit irresponsible for CZ to just say it's fine, IMO.  MY TS Blue is right around 2.8 lbs and I sure as heck don't want to go any lighter for anything.
