KP III: Thanks, but part # 29 in the exploded drawing is not the same as the one in your pistol. It was further developed for the actual pistol. There is a half-moon flange on the front of the camblock that fits exactly with a recess in the injection molded polymer frame. There is so much precise fitting of the recoil spring guide/camblock, that is facilitated by injection molding and precision casting that I don't think a lot of folks appreciate the true precision that Ruger achieved with this pistol. Most still regard it with a pre-conceived evaluation from the P-85 from 1987. Ruger numbers their pistols based on year of design and development rather than year of release, btw.

Interesting, I did not know that. My cameria batteries are dead, but upon getting new ones, I will take the photos for everyone. I am looking forward to it. Should have them next week.

My apologies. The Rifle I got is not an Arsenal it is a Armory USA rifle. It is still a nice fit and finsh. I was going to put an ACE stock on it but the wood is so nice I can not bring my self to do it.

As far as the pistol goes. I am at this point planning on getting the Ruger and the Witness P Carry in 10mm. Someday if Hillabillary does not not get elected or somewhere in between I will get the Glock as long as the 13rd mags are still available.

I am a bit of a ballistics nut, so I was glad to read that you will opt for the 10mm when you can. It is just so versitile, flat shooting, and hard hitting.

I am a big growing fan of the 10mm round. The more I read about it and shoot mine the more I like it. The fact that you can also hold 15rds gives it a little edge over the .45 in my opinion. I do not understand why it is not more popular. I have shot .45s and .40s that recoil worse than my 10mm.
