Nice DW setup. Try adjusting your grip and only shooting with your finger tip pad. 1911's are known for shooting to the left if you use the first joint as it makes the gun slightly twist in your hand when pulling trigger. Trigger slides instead of being hinged like most guns. Also, if you are going to carry it, make sure it will feed your defensive ammo. My Guardian 9 wouldn't feed 147gr ammo until it had about 300 rounds thru it.
