P-07 with Pro Grade upgrade kit
« on: February 24, 2018, 03:06:26 PM »
Installed the Pro Grade kit in my P-07 today.  Got everything polished and new parts put in.  Using a 17lb Wolff hammer spring for now but may try the 18lb spring also.  Using the .018 sear spring and I must say I like it.  Just right at 3lb single action crisp as glass pull with the decocker, and 8 1/2lb double action pull.  Love the short reset and crisp trigger.  Can't wait for it to dry up a little so I can get to the range.  Amazing trigger.

I?d love to experiment with 17 and 16 lb mainsprings.  Are these only available from Wolf?

Okay, I finally got the .025 bushing and the trigger return spring in the gun.  The single action pull is 2lb 14oz and the double action is 8lb even.  This is a great gun.  Single action trigger breaks like glass as good as any of my 1911's and the double is smooth and breaks clean.  Love it.

The trigger on these pistols with Cajun parts are just beyond belief. My Cajun P07 is my favorite pistol to the point I am selling my high end custom Hi Powers.

Polished the rest of the parts and re-bent the spring.  Double action weight is 7lb 2oz average and extremely smooth.  Single action is 2lb 13oz average and breaks like glass.  Might end up putting the heavier sear spring in to make the single action a little heavier, just a little undecided on that yet.

Went to the range today.  The gun functioned flawlessly.  Had a blast with it and my P10c.
