I think CZ made revolvers, but it was a long, long time ago, and darned few of them ever made it to the US.

Other than that, the Forum is primarily dedicated to CZs and CZ clones.  We talk about other guns out of courtesy to our CZ owners who have other guns -- but you'll notice we haven't set up any non-CZ forums.

Chris:
Feel free to always corrupt us in the Firearms Forum., which is right where you posted this thread.  I love wheel guns and always will. , even though I am primarily a semi auto guy.

I love my Ruger .45LC. It is what got me started in reloading. I also am primarily a semi-auto guy but it is true that nothing feel like a fine tuned whell gun.

I especially like my Taurus 905 in 9mm.  I enjoy spurless/internal hammer /lightweight carry revolvers.  They are surprisingly accurate.  .

I've got a Ruger SP-101 in 38/357 that I wouldn't get rid of for the world. It's one of my very favorites.

There is something magical about a wheelgun.  It stirs up eras of the past and alot of nastalga.
I am especially fond of them when watching the movie -TOMBSTONE- with Val Kilmer.

The magic in wheelguns is the 3" barrel.  Once you handle a 3" J or K frame Smith or ruger, you are hooked.  Nice gain in velocity, great balance, an no harder to conceal.  I have 2 3" 44 Specials, one is the rare S&W 696.  Just 5 holers, but fine protection.

I'm a Smith & Wesson revolver freak - there are currenty 40 of them in my safe (OK - 39 in the safe and one on my hip). I own only five semis - all CZ's. Many guns of all kinds have passed through my hands, but the CZ's and S&W's have been the ones that hooked me.

And Pastor Weems is right about the joys of 3" Smiths, including the 66 that follows me everywhere.

I've tried the 3-1-16/th Rugers in .32H&R , great experience!:D  , especially shooting .32 S&W Longs out of it.

Since CZ is now a purveyor of revolvers, the Dan Wessons that they're advertising as the best they have ever been; it would seem appropriate that a revolver forum would be added at some point. I know some serious DW revolver shooters/collectors and they inform me that the revolvers made at Norwich, NY are indeed better than the originals that were made at Monson, Ma. I had an original Monson gun and if the new ones are indeed better than that, DW revolvers are going to be very popular again. My 8" model 15 was probably the most accurate .357 Magnum I have ever fired.;)

I would like to have a 10mm revolver with a 6" barrel. Does any thing like that exist? I looked at a s&w .45acp revolver today and it was fairly nice however I am still a bit bigoted towards them. It was a nice revolver though.

You need to look at the S&W 610. It has a 6.5" barrel. Its not in production any more but you can still find them.
