Mine looks very close to this:

Although the lower is a standard Bushmaster, the upper is the  Fulton ARmory Classic FAR-15A2.

Ooooh! Ooooh! Did someone mention ARs???

A 24" Varmint AR built from a J&T kit, with an Eagle Arms lower, RRA 2-stage trigger modified to break at 1.5 lbs., and a Simmons 6.5-20x50 scope. With my 75 gr. handloads, this rifle is fully capable of sub-1" groups at 200 yards.

Same AR as above, different perspective.

A 20" A3, built with an RRA upper, DPMS barrel, Bushmaster buttstock, Eagle Arms lower with RRA internals, and a 2-stage trigger modified to break at 1.5 lbs. A real "mutt" if there ever was one.

I have a few other ARs, including a couple of M4geries, that I currently do not have images of.

The Black Rifle Disease is pretty contagious!

Nice Varmint Rig, dleong!

Built a few AR15A2's back around 1987 and kept one of them.  It is built on a PacWest Lower with mostly Rock River Arms Parts and a heavy FN Barrel with a 1:9 twist.  Smith Enterprise Muzzle brake.  Has a 2.5x Scope attached to the carry handle.  No Pics as my Pic host is moving to a new server, but I will post them later, should the host become available.

Currently, I'm refurbishing the Bolt with a E.G.R.E.S.S. Bolt Upgrade Kit from CMMG.  Has a single Gas Ring, Extractor D-Ring, and Chrome Silicon Extractor and Ejector Springs. cmmginc.secure-mall.com/s...13&cat=29&

Plan to build another later on with A4 upper, free float handguard, 18 or 20 inch heavy fluted barrel similar to the Tactical MK12 Mod 0 SPR series currently in use by SOF.  May use an LMT upper. www.thegunzone.com/556faq-nb.html

jwc007,

Thank you, sir!

It sounds like you are going to have a pretty sweet AR once you have put it together.

If you'd like, I can host the image for you on my webspace. Just e-mail the image to me at dlwh AT charter DOT net.

You're Welcome, dleong!  Thanks for the offer on the Pic!  Host should be available soon, as they are in the process of reloading all of the old files/pics, of which my AR is one of them.

Yep, the new one probably will be a sweet machine, when built!  It's in the planning stage.

Added a link to my original post that explains a bit about the Mk12 Mod 0 Special Purpose Rifles currently being used in Afghanistan and Iraq, by Squad Designated Marksman.  There was an article in Shotgun News about their use and a test of a Civilian Version.

Sorry for the grainy pic..

This is my Bushmaster XM15 E2S M4 flatop, I chose to stick with the A2 stock over the telestock.

It has been flawless, and the bushmaster y-comp muzzle break is terrible on your ears, but it works great.

Looking into CQB optics now, can't decide though. >D

Here is an image of two of my 16" ARs:

The top AR features an RRA 16" upper assembly with mid-length handguards and a "tactical" carry handle mated to an Eagle Arms lower with an RRA 2-stage trigger and a rather forlorn-looking DPMS A2 buttstock. A2 flashhider and Hogue grip but no bayo lug.

The bottom AR has a complete Stag Arms 16" M4-style upper assembly with an ARMS #40 flip-up rear sight. The lower is again an Eagle Arms receiver with RRA internals and a 2-stage trigger. The 6-position telestock is by RRA. First Samco G27 grip.

The RRA 2-stage triggers in both ARs have been modified to break at about 1.5 lbs.

As you can see, I like my ARs pretty basic. :D

David,

I am terrible at identifying rifles: is that a Mosin-Nagant next to your Bushy?

It's Russian, It is stamped 1952r on the receiver cover, with the Tula factory stamp.

This rifle is the best steal I've ever had. I found it at a yard sale, $50. no joke.

The only thing that I've replaced is the handguard cover, the original was split in several places. It definitely needs a refinish on the stock.
