Idea for adding slide racker (lever) to CZ75 B

Hi All,

Since I'm building an optics-mount CZ from an SP-01, and might use a C-more on a frame-mounted plate, I am looking into ideas for a slide racking lever to fit into the rear sight dovetail.  They make ones for a Czechmate, but from research its seems that it is too small for the regular 75B/SP-01 dovetail.

I've read that the dovetail width for the 75B/SP-01 is .384" at the bottom.  I measured the base of some Meprolights I took out of another SP-01, and I get around .374".  Assuming that the dovetail angle is 60?, how about if I get one of these.......

...which has a 60? angle, and a .359" base width, make a shim, and then red loctite the angled sides?  This lever also has a set screw, so I'm thinking with what shouldn't be a very big shim, the set-screw and the red loctite, it should be pretty secure.  Any thoughts on this?


EDIT:  After reading up a bit more.....an LPA dovetail width is apparently .375"....which seems to be even closer than the .359" of the item listed above.  If that's the case, then if it's not a pretty direct fit, the same shim/set-screw/loctite approach should work even better with a Czechmate slide racker (assuming the Czechmate uses an LPA rear sight cut), no?  Or is the Czechmate slide racker too short up/down?

Did you ever get a slide racker for your SP-01?

No, I'm just taking the optics plate on and off when needed.  Even though now I have a Tac Sport slide on it and can get a specific lever for it, I use the gun with and without optics for different things.

Mo, just got my CZC mount installed yesterday. I forgot to order the slide racket from CZC so I ended up ordering a different one from shooters connection.



The dovetail measurements on the TS/TSO are .360 and 60 degrees.

Yes. I?ll be shooting it in USPSA Limited and use the Shadow 2 for Production. I have to return the orange trigger because it doesn?t match the color of the grips. It?s dull and has the serrations on the trigger face which was totally different from the pictures on the store?s website. I?m sticking with the polymer trigger for now.

I should have just ordered the orange TS trigger from Robin Sebo when I ordered the Shadow 2 extended safety and mag release pad.

Ah, yeah I don't mind the serrations but the color can be hit or miss.  Milos is a good guy though and will do you right.  Black trigger still looks great.

Can you shoot with an optic in Limited?

Oh shoot. I meant to say Carry Optics since I used to shoot that in Limited prior. I?ll find out if I enjoy carry optics more than I do limited and how it impacts my shooting switching back and forth between red dot and iron sights.

Just found out that I can?t shoot the CZ TSO in CO. SA is not allowed. I guess I have to remove the optics and go back to limited.

Or just shoot Open.  Higher capacity mags anyway.

I ordered a zigracker for my TSO and after the season want to get the slide worked on and the racker installed. I'm having a tough time racking the slide with my large hands and I'm used to larger slide heights of the sig. I'm using this gun in limited. Hopefully I can get the slide racker installed further enough back to retain the rear sights and occasionally pop on the CZC red dot mount like pictures above. I don't think I'll ever move to open division, but I have it just in case and will run this gun for competition until I can afford a custom 2011.
