-Imposes 20% tax on all firearms
-Imposes 50% tax on all ammunition
-Increases Special Occupational Tax for firearms businesses and adjusts annually for inflation
-Increases cost of NFA Tax stamp to $500 and adjusts annually for inflation
-Dedicates the proceeds for the above to gun research, police, NICS, & "Safe Neighborhoods"

Yep they've been after similar legislation for years now. N.Y. senator Daniel Moynihan said in the early 90's if we can't outright ban them we'll "TAX THEM" out of existence. He retired and Hitlery Clinton took over his senate seat. May they both keep each other company for eternity in a very warm climate.
