Shadow 2 with SAO conversion legal for USPSA Limited-10?

Just to be sure since I'll be shooting myst first scored USPSA match soon......

I converted my Shadow 2 to SAO.  I know that you can run the regular DA/SA as a SAO cocked and locked, but I like the trigger positioning/pull length and reset with an actual SAO trigger installed.  Is the gun still legal for Limited 10 in USPSA, or not so because I modified it that way?  Thanks.

Yes, you're legal, you'll just be shooting Minor PF in L/L10 by using a 9mm. You can also install a slide racker and thumbrest/gas pedal on it, if you want to do so.

Shot this past Sat. and it went pretty well.  The weight/feel of the S2 definitely helped me on followups.  I did have a few no-shoots and M's, which I know cost me a lot shooting minor.  I might shoot my Tac Sport Blue in a match, but I probably prefer that for steel/static since it's rather big and bulky.

Mo I would shoot the Tac Sport Blue if you have a holster for it. They are a dream to use in USPSA.

The Nitrofin requires some serious milling/filing. Once it is fitted correctly though it is pretty sweet to use.

Hmm. I thought there was some minor fitting with the nitrofin, didn?t think there was milling involved. Do you have experience with trying one out? I?ve Been debating doing a SAO in one of my SP-01s or an S2 for LTD.

Yes, I have fit one to my Tactical Sport for use in USPSA Limited. Maybe I received a blank but there were no cutouts on the pin for the slide to ride through.

I'm thinking about it....it's just that it is a bigger gun and doesn't quite seem as 'wieldy' as the S2.  But I might try it at an Outlaw match with USPSA rules.

Ahh no, just milling on the nitro fin for the slide to pass through. Looking at the images of the nitrofin on retailers sites it looks like I did in fact receive a blank. Oh well had a match in a couple days rather spend it fitting it properly haha.
