527 Carbine Length LH?
« on: May 04, 2018, 01:51:45 PM »
Hello! New to forum and had a question for you.

I?m a lefty and have decided I want to buy a left hand 527 in .223. The problem is I really like the carbine length model with iron sights. What do you think the best way to make this happen?

-Buy the a LH 527 with the 23 inch barrel and have it cut down?
-Contact CZ about a custom job?
-Could i buy a factory carbine length barrel from CZ and get it installed on my lefty model? (Not sure if the 527 RH barrel can be install on LH 527 receivers).

Thanks in advance.

Start with asking CZ - can't hurt. You never know, "We have one in the back nobody wanted..." type of thing MIGHT occur, never know. if that doesn't work then contact a local gunsmith about cutting/recrowning a barrel for you, might be expensive. I didn't see any barrels on the webstore, also couldn't hurt to ask. 1-800-955-4486.
