P10 Ambi nature is great for righty's too

Just wanted to say that even if you are right handed, having a fully ambidextrous gun like the P10C is a good thing to have in the family.  About a month ago, I injured my right shoulder and for a while could not even lift it a few degrees.  I could not draw from a holster by a long shot and had zero strength to lift a pistol, let along shoot it.

Being a died in the wool carry guy, I dug out an old Glock combat holster that's ambidextrous and took my P10C to the range for some left handed practice.  I was able to shoot better than I thought I'd be able to and could still draw and fire pretty well.  Having a P10C that is completely ambidextrous made a big difference in the transition as well as having a left hand holster handy.

Even if you are fully right handed, you never know when a fall might suddenly make you left handed for a couple of weeks.  It pays to practice weak hand shooting and have a pistol that you don't have to struggle to shoot lefty.  With practice, you can shoot quite well with either hand but the time to practice is before something forces the situation on you, not after.

In my case, the P10C let me resume carrying once I practiced enough.  I had always thought that an ambidextrous was nice, but I'm glad that I have a couple in the family now because you just never know when you will suddenly become a lefty.  I've gained enough movement in my right shoulder to be able to shoot again, but am still practicing left hand shooting.  I've also swapped to left hand mousing on the computer to improve the left hand/eye coordination.

Good reminder for all of us. The P10c is one of, if not the only pistols that points as naturally with either hand, and that I don't pull off target slightly with my off hand. Hope you fully recover, and don't need to use your off hand for long. But it's great that you can when necessary.
