I sent a request in for a response and haven't heard anything... it would be crappy of CZ not to respond to this... I mean heck, if I heard Cajun Gun Works had a simple fix, I'd be contacting them and at least fund a sample for testing... just a matter of taking care of your customers.

Not a very encouraging read. I was thinking about picking up a new P10C but now I?m having second thoughts.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another... and probably will.
I'd look at a few in lgs's to pick from rather than on line,
I'm quite satisfied with mine, 1500 + rd's and runs like a top.
Even better, maybe CGW will offer tuned P10's

If I buy a used early model without the "fixes" will CZ still honor a warranty repair even though I bought it used?

I believe the CZ warranty is to the original purchaser. You would have to call them and get this answer from the horses mouth. I know they have have honored warranties to some non original purchasers in the past but that would be at their discretion.

Also check for the little shelf on the front insert.  Early P10s didn't have this to prevent the slide release spring from popping out of position, locking up the slide.
