I got the call

The call from David @ CGW on my PCR.

I requested the following:
1- Pro package
2- crown the muzzle
3- refinish in chrome
4- straight 8 style sights from CZ custom

He tells me the SA trigger pull ~3 lbs. DA ~6 lbs.

Should be here Thurs. Anticipation is killing me.

Will try to post pics this week

You can?t say enough about their service and ability to make a very slick pistola. I?ve had mine for almost 2 years now and it?s my favorite out of all my pistols.

Congratulations.  I would love to see a picture of the hard Chrome.  I been debating on doing it to my P-01 but have been thinking of picking up a steel body to hard chrome instead.

Pics as promised. PCR shown over my P01 Omega ( that also has some Cajun spice).

Am super pleased. Trigger pulls are simply superb, smooth, light, crisp. PCR has Cool Hand grips where the P01 has LOK boggies.

Will test it at my IDPA match this weekend.

David and his crew at CGW deserve all the credit for the PCR. To be honest, I got it used, and it looked it. Thought I?d use it as a base for some ideas I had swirling in my brain bucket. CGW did a superb job for sure.

I like both the LOK and cool hand grips. Think the cool hands are slightly more visually appealing and the LOKs are slightly more aggressive grip wise. Believe either can serve well. Certainly like both better than VZs I used to have on a 75b

Chrome PCR looks awesome!  Does CGW do their own finishing or farm it out?  Don?t want anything else done to mine but the chrome finish.  I might get separation anxiety if it was gone too long tho! :)

Believe they contract it out. In another thread, the OP said he thought they used Fords, but I can?t confirm that.

Best to contact Micha at CGW, he can tell you.

I have them on my PCR (in black color) and love them. If you have large hands - go for it. They are great.
To my surprise they are very aggressive. I don't have soft hands and they were too much for me. But the beauty of G10 material is that you can sand it. I sand them down a bit and they are perfect now.
I like LOK better than Cool Hand.
