Hello I have a CZP10C I bought new and after my first range trip I noticed the metal guide rod was sticking out a lot more than it was before I shot, more so than any gun I've ever owned but it shot excellent and had no issues but I wanted to post a pic and see what you P10 owners think is yours similar. Thank you

You have to use third-party hosting to add pics.

Check the retaining screw at the end of the guide rod. It seems to be a common issue that they back out.

Check the retaining screw at the end of the guide rod. It seems to be a common issue that they back out.

That was exactly the problem I guess they did not locktite it however I donr know if locktite will hold it anyway because the screw is side next to the barrel lugs and sits in their in a way it puts pressure in that screw to twist. The screw is at the opssite end of the guide than say a Glock gen 3 and those rarely have any problem because their is no pressure in the screw because it sits in the hole under the barrel hole in slide so screw touches rubs nothing on the glock.

Anyways I called CZ and they where very curtious telling me the same thing that it probably did not get locked down at the factory for whatever reason. They are also sending me the polymer recoil spring assembly that has no screw to come undone, I don't know why they went stainless non captured was the poly rods breaking?

I just tightened while at the range and never got around to loctiting it. Several hundred rounds later it hasn't moved. With loctite I don't see it being an issue at all.

I had this issue after my second range trip, I ended up putting lock tight on it. Hasn't moved a bit.
