Some interesting CIP proof mark that I?m unfamiliar with on the slide. CIP over N shows on barrel, slide and frame near serial numbers. Looked thru several different European proof marks, couldn?t find this one.

It is a pressure rating proof mark similar to NATO or SAMMI

I need an intervention. 

So hows the trigger pull? My standard steel framed P-01 w/ safety had an awful trigger from the factory, and I just ordered one of these new stainless ones. Hoping for the best here

Hmmmm, usually CZ stainless handguns have more clearance between the slide and the frame than the all steel models due to galling. Anyway, it's a beautiful handgun.  How does the polished finish compare to your 75b stainless finish?

The proof mark is a european thing, that they started doing awhile back,I have a Beretta PX4 that has the same "cip" over a "N" on it as well as my HK VP9 the VP9 that has a BE date code, which is for 2014.. So  they've been using it at least that long.. In HK's case this replaces the eagle N, which was a proof mark for smokeless powder..I'm guessi g it has something to do with that...

There is no extra room left. This thing is a squatty assed tank. Very (very) tight clearance everywhere.

The polish finished matches the 75 b polish very closely. All in all, I?m thrilled with this lil tank. Very, squatty, very substantial feel in the hand.

Going to take it out and run it on Wednesday of this week, will report back after that and will try again to duplicate this rattle you were asking about as well. Got to shoot the 75 B this past Wednesday, what an awesome pistol! I?m sure the P01 will not disappoint either.

Yeah I?m familiar with the CIP over the N, but couldn?t find country of origin when looking thru different European proof marks. I?ve had a few pistols over the past few years with the CIP, but different proof marks. (My photos are absolutely terrible, this particular one looks like a lion standing on its rear legs facing leftward inside of a shield) these will usually tell you which proof house it?s coming from, and which country it was tested and marked in, as well as a general area of what years it may be tested in/between
