Here we would have to split into two groups, carry and competetion. I believe Angus still has the Ghost Holster line of competetion rigs, and High Noon, http://highnoonholsters.com/index.html, (http://highnoonholsters.com/index.html,) lists some good solid carry leather for the SP-01. I don't know if the Phantom needs a special rig, or can fit the SP-01 leather. Anyone else?
-
You can order a BladeTech for the SP-01, for competition. If you need a competition holster for a Phantom from BladeTech, be sure to specify "for Phantom" in the comment line when you order.
-
Blade Tech makes excellent holsters for SP-01 that fits Shadow (same frame/slide) and now Phantom too. I use those for USPSA/IDPA.
I have one leather holster only that I use with Shadow, it's made by Galco for USP, holster model CM292.

Safariland 528-83-61 (RH) my favorite, pancake and very flat against your body
528-83-62 (LH)
Fobus SG/Pro

Fist Holsters made a holster for my Shadow Custom and my hybrid with the 5.4 in barrel. They will make them in leather or Kydex. They have 50 different holster for sale. They can fit the Shadow to any of them because they have the dummy gun mold for the sp-01
-
I normally prefer leather but opted for the Blade-tec for my Phantom. Saw a picture of one on another thread on this forum. Perfect fit and adjustable. Very Nice. Specify Phantom when you order.
-
alrobert, very nice!
Question for those who own both, those holsters that are finely boned/moulded, like kydex and very heavily boned leather for the SP01, do they fit the Phantom? Or does the Phantom only fit holsters loosly boned for the Sp01?
-
codismo says,
kcguy posted on the forum (in the thread "The CZ-ZONE: SP-01 PHANTOM PAGE!") about Phantom holsters, and recommended a Safarialand holster, one of the 568 series. I looked on Optics Planet and they had it so I ordered it. It was under fifty bucks and it fits the Phantom and the P-07 like a glove and it comes with both the paddle and belt loop attachment. The model number from Optics Planet was 568-744-411-K15. I got it this very afternoon and I think I am going to like it. I haven't been impressed with the fit of most of the Blackhawk holsters I have tried for the CZ's, and I think I prefer leather laminate feel of the Safarilands. I know this isn't a CCW holster, but it feels like it will be a great range holster at the very least. I know I have heard talk of Blade-Tech making an IWB holster for them, I just haven't had the patience for a 3 week wait. To be fair though, that is shorter than the other wait times from other custom holster makers. Anyway, just thought I would share.
Thanks!

falco holsters is now producing holsters specifically for the phantom.

I wanted a lined kydex holster to prevent wear on the Shadow I use in IPSC and these are the ones I found on the web from Garrett Industries and Double Alpha Academy.

I ended up getting the low ride holster from Double Alpha Academy and I am very happy with it.

Great holster from a great guy. The MacDaniel II is my main rig for my sp-01.
I run one of the Double Alpha holsters for some classes, it has a great fit as well.
-
I have a drop/offset holster for an STi Edge made by Ready Tactical purchased from CPWSA.com that fits my SP01 Shadow just fine.
-
I went to Falco and looked - nice shoulder holsters! I checked, and sure enough, the Phantom was listed...and so was the "CZ75 SP-01 Mamba". Say huh? Did I miss a variant?
-
It seems like the Mamba might a European only gun. I saw that too and started googling to see what I could find. It looked very similar to a Shadow with minor changes. Most of the pages I found for it were in german or other languages this dumb gringo doesn't speak.
-
That would make sense, as Falco is based over seas. Hmm.
-
cross breed holsters makes some that fit the sp-01....Got their super tuck deluxe for my glock and they are very comfortable and sturdy....(just ordered my sp-01 today so once i comes im sure a cross breed wont be far behind)!!

Yeah a guy from the Philippines posted here about his Mamba awhile back, its sort of like their version of our Shadow Custom.

Are there any kydex holsters that offers level 2 or higher retention with auto locking mechanism out there? I was thinking about the Safariland 6004 rig but the SP-01 is not offered it seems, they do however have the 6004 for the 75B so I was wondering will that fit? Or can it be made to fit if I heat it up a bit with a hot air gun and "re-mold" it around my Shadow?
-
Hey Preed,
The older 6004 holsters were Level 1, but had the ability to add a second "switch" to the back of the holster that would lock the hood, (Botch used to carry 'em), it does not allow the down and forward motion of the hood, required to draw your pistol, until the switch was disengaged. While it may not be considered a true level 2 it is a pretty good
set up. I have been carrying my Glock 21sf/ X-300 light, in it for a couple of years and I like the set up. I'll check and see if my Phantom / X-200 will fit in the G-21's holster tonight,
(I think that it will), and I will report back.

POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG SECTION, MEANT TO PUT IT HERE.......SORRY.
I just got a Don Hume leather belt holster for my Phantom and SP-01 Tactical. I got the H721 No. 41 (Glock 21), holster.... it fits the Tactical O.K. and the Phantom better, but the strap is a bit loose, due to the shape of the G-21 but is usable. I wonder if a Glock 17 holster would even be a better fit (Not sure!). The Phantom fits a bit snug, in the G-21's holster but I think it will break in and be fine. It is a good quality holster, which I would buy again.
I got it at Gunners alley for $52 bucks. http://www.gunnersalley.com/product/H721/Don-Hume-Double-Nine-H721-Belt-Holster.html (http://www.gunnersalley.com/product/H721/Don-Hume-Double-Nine-H721-Belt-Holster.html)
I wish I could find a good kydex holster that would take the SP-01 with my Sig light mounted..... it is a pain dismounting it every time I want to carry it!
I do use it as a bedside gun most of the time, so it lives with the light mounted!
Fred
P.S. I did buy a Falco holster first.... I hate to say it.... but the Falco isn't even in the same league..... it is not terrible, but not great.... the leather is soft and thin.... I don't trust it,
I felt that I needed a better more secure holster so had to go out and buy the Don Hume, which has much superior quality.
-
Hey gents just found this thread on the glock talk site sells quite a few different holsters for a reasonable price and looks like people are pretty satisfied (2years worth of posts) in there somewhere it says he makes holsters for CZ models.... http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1194122 (http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1194122)
-
Hey All, just for info. a phantom with X-200 WILL fit quite well in a Safriland 6004, (For G-21 with X300), It is a bit snug, and the hood will touch the hammer (when at half cock), but it works fine. I Also have access to a 6004, for a Beretta 92, (Without mounted Light), I'll report back when I get a chance.
Just F.Y.I.
Fred
-
That sounds great.. I guess as long as the length fits, the shape might be adjustable by heating the kydex a little..
What about a model for a 1911? Isn't the CZ 75 based on the 1911? Oh btw I think the X200 is discontinued? So that doesn't help much I guess..
-
I don't think a 1911 holster will work, while similar in size, the larger trigger guard on the CZ won't allow it to fit (although in a pinch you might be able to mod. a 1911 Kydex holster to work) The X-200 and X-300 are pretty close in size, My Dept. bought my X-300, but my X-200 was on my dime, so sometimes you gotta use the best you can afford!

Safariland 528-83 for SP-01 and 528-183 for P-01 or P-06 (the P-06 is snug).

I bought this....but I had no clue what I was doing. Let you know when it arrives.

I am ordering this for my Shadow..
Condor Tornado (http://www.condoroutdoor.com/ttlh-008tornadotacticallegholster.aspx)
But I want to get a kydex holster with some retention level security(duty style) aswell..
My dream holster is the Condor Tornado holster with a dustflap and a built-in Safariland 6070. I think I may have to build one like that.. :D
-
High noon lists that they will make their slide guard, sky high, and topless holsters for the sp-01...they are all OWB.
www.highnoonholsters.com (http://www.highnoonholsters.com)
-
Yes, but apparently the Phantom is SLIGHTLY different in specs, so the precisely molded holsters will not quite fit. In other news, a Phantom mold may make it's way over to High Noon soon. :)
-
Kirkpatrick made a beautiful holster for my Shadow.

newbie here just joined forum tonight thought i would check out the cz-sp01 forum just ordered my new gun today and was having trouble finding a quality competition holster.learned alot reading the posts and i was wondering why the heck dosen't blackhawk get the lead out so i shot them an e-mail to see if the beretta 92 holster would work for the SP-01 let ya know if i hear back from them.

http://shop.cz-usa.com/P-11213/Tactical-Leg-Retention-Holster-Phantom.aspx (http://shop.cz-usa.com/P-11213/Tactical-Leg-Retention-Holster-Phantom.aspx)
Took some time but this is the only holster I have found for the Phantom that has the Serpa style press release at the trigger guard.
On a side note...
Also be weary about the Falco holsters. I ended up ordering the leather one and it came as a holster for the regular SP-01. Needless to say it was a pain re-boning this to kind of fit the Phantom, but i wasn't about to send it back to Slovakia and wait another month for them to figure this out. To me the holster looks pretty nice and actually the leather seems to be of good quality. After using it for about a month or two every day it fits really good other than its about half a inch too long and getting the thumb break button snap reaching far enough to come together. After a few months the leather formed enough that the snap reached so it wasn't a huge problem for me but if you want something that is going to be perfect out of the box I would recommend something custom, for leather anyway. This may have just been a mistake but I kind of felt like they just added the Phantom to they're list of compatible SP01 holsters, because i emailed them multiple times before buying it to confirm that it would fit.
-
I have been trying to get a Falco to review.
-
blackhawk not much...basicaly what is listed is what fits...... did find a fobus roto holster gonna give that a try
-
Your search is over my friends!
So, I really got into this today and sent CZ USA a detailed email about what i needed and they replied with this...

Subject: CZ Phantom Holster
I would like to know if there is a holster similar to the tactical leg retention holster (11213) but that is worn on a belt instead. I have seen the exact type of holster that I am describing on the czub.cz site catalog but when I look for it to buy on their site store it is not seen. These models include
CZ 75 SP-01 PHANTOM
5125-0412 Duty holster with belt attachment
5125-0416 Duty holster with lowered belt attachment
5125-0433 Duty thigh holster
And are shown here with a picture, in the lower right hand section of models, of the CZ SP 01 Phantom in the holster I described http://www.czub.cz/en/catalog/87-accessories/AC-HO/5125-0301.aspx (http://www.czub.cz/en/catalog/87-accessories/AC-HO/5125-0301.aspx)
If you have any information on how I could purchase this specific holster it would be much appreciated.
Thank You for your time.

Hey Guys,
Just for info. I had a safariland 6004 for a Beretta 92fs.... and being a somewhat handy fellow...... thought what the hell... I'll give it a try, mod'ing it to fit my tactical, and phantom. I had a burns-o-matic Mapp gas tourch... and a couple of wood blocks, a glock 17 "rubber duck" training gun. First off I would say not to use Mapp gas.... use propane, Ect. Mapp gas is too hot, (It is what I had.... and works... but you have to be careful not to overheat!). I just went slowly warming the Kydex from the top down... heating a fairly small area,... and mostly just bending it out with my fingers..... I didn't really need the wood blocks or "rubber duck" to move the kydex, it moves easily and quickly when warm... and stays put when cool. The hardest part was the bottom end of the holster, where it flares in around the beretta's muzzle.... it was a bit tricky.... But I went slowly and it worked great! This was an easy project!
I would think that with all the beretta holsters coming back from "the sandbox", these would make very good, low cost, Tac holsters for our beloved CZ's! I will post pic's later today! It may not be the prettiest holster on the range.... but will get 'er done.... I will likely
duracoat mine, on my next nice day off!

Hello to all...
I am located in Oklahoma and am in the midst of working with Blade-Tech and Looper Leathers on making there Hybrid Holster (top quality leather with Kydex inner liner) in a Duty rig with the Level III retention for the SP-01. I was checking the interest level of anyone else for a leather/kydex holster molded for the SP-01 not only in a duty model, but in OWB/IWB/any other config you would like. I will most likely be providing them with one of my SP-01 pistols for them to make a mold of to be able to vacuum form a hybrid holster when ever one is ordered. Also any other models of CZ that you all would prefer..(P-07, P-06, 75 compact etc.) Feel free to message me directly or reply to this post and I will update with the results of progress.
Thank you,
Ryan Shaw
-
Very nice, glad to hear that! If I can get my Dept to authorize my Phantom, that will be a carry pistola.

I'd be interested, really thinking of the Phantom as a duty gun for security work.

keep us posted if you hear anything, I usually get an email from them when new stuff comes out but just in case I miss something. I sent them a request for the Phantom about 2 months ago and got a response saying if there was enough interst they would make them. So good job to all those others who asked about them also.

Just a quick update... They are in the process (about 2 weeks along) of making gun molds of my SP-01 tac with and with out a TLR-1s light so holsters should be available in the very near future.

Nice, thanks! 8)

High Noon now carries 90% of their holsters for the Phantom!
-
I bought a fobus paddle holster for a glock 21 that fits my sp 01 tactical pretty darn good!!
-

GALCO....FLETCH...FL224 for Glock 17 or 19

just get lucky I look for Glock 19 and try this model is work very well with CZ SP-01
this will be holster for CZ for sure ;)
-
A nice combo rig for me would fit the Phantom and Glock 17/19 so I could use it for work and off duty.
-
Guy's
Just received a Safariland Model 567/568 Custom fit (paddle) for my 5in XD and fit my CZ Phantom just as well adjustable for a varied number of gats. Laminate with suede lining.
Worth a look as a fairly cheap option as a range/ carry holster.

Just in case and FYI to everyone intersred I found this site with holsters for CZ 75s and then some.

-
My 2 cents worth as a very new SP01 Shadow owner is that this gun can be concealed pretty well using a Remora IWB holster (same holster works also for my G17 and 5" 1911 clone).
-
I've used the Falco belt holster for my phantom for several months now for carry. The leather is soft and thin, cut a little too long as well, but it supports the weight of the gun very well and reholsters easy. It was my first leather holster and I was rather shocked when I could barely get it to snap closed for the first time, but it has broken in real nice.
I've also used CZ's serpa like leg holster for the phantom. It has stayed in place and performed very well during three gun events. I have not tried to see if it has the same jamming problems that serpa's do when you roll around in the dirt though. One thing I do like about them is that instead of using the pad of your trigger finger to unlock the retention mechanism, you use the base of your trigger finger. Making it a lot harder for your finger to slip in to the trigger guard. The one thing I don't like is the track line for the front sight. It can be a little annoying when reholstering.
The highnoon under armor shoulder rig for my sr9c also fits the phantom nicely. Its a little more snug, but tension screws are your friend. Despite being long it still conceals well under a baggy button up. The thin shoulder straps make it uncomfortable after all day carry though. However, since high noon now has a phantom mold, this paragraph probably isn't that helpful. :P
Does anyone here know if the phantom will work in a galco holster made for a glock 21? I really like the jackass rig from them and would like to use it if the phantom fits. Any holster from galco with a snap closure will probably work as a test.
-
I went to a local gun store today to see which leather thumb break holsters would fit the phantom. The sig 226 and 229 worked (the 229 being a little tighter and the 226 being a little loser), the glock 21 worked but was extremely tight, and a hk usp 9/40 jackass shoulder holster worked very well. The holsters were made by galco and some other brand that I can't remember, both brands worked in the same model.
Hope this helps.

OK, I have read this entire thread and I'm confused.
I have a 75 Shadow T.
http://czcustom.com/cz75shadowtsadablk.aspx
It has the short dust cover.
For IDPA I like CompTec holsters. Will a P-01 holster fit?
http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=66
How about a Sp-01?
What is the full story on what is the same as what?
-
I would hazard a guess that a holster made for the CZ 75 SA will work, but I'd want to try before buying, with something as "one-of" as that one. You may need to get real custom leather work done.
-
does anybody have (for the phantom) the cz holster, is so, do you have a pic with the gun in, what you like/dont like etc..
they have 2 holsters for the phantom on CZ website:

FULL STYLE HOLSTER = NO EXPOSED SIGHTS
Your Price US$69.00/EA

and:

DROP STYLE/THUMB PADDLE RETENTION CLIP
FULL STYLE HOLSTER=NO EXPOSED SIGHTS
Your Price US$74.99/EA
(http://shop.cz-usa.com/images/items/Fullsize/11212.jpg)
-
I have the drop leg version of that holster for the phantom.
Likes:
-solid construction in the holster
-positive locking mechanism that make you use the base of your finger instead of the tip to release the gun. Which means you're less likely to have your finger slip in to the trigger guard.
-durable
-stays in place while running
-can be converted for lefties.
Dislikes:
-The plastic strap going up to your belt seems cheap (since you aren't looking at the drop leg model it shouldnt be a problem)
-The track line for your front sight can cause slowly reholstering to be a pain. The gun will hit it at the wrong angle and not reholster and you have to wiggle it a bit. Haven't had a problem when quickly reholstering though
-Instructions were not in english and listed a paddle attachment as a part that mine didn't have. CZ said it didn't come with that part so that was a bit confusing.
Overall I think its a good buy, especially considering there isn't really any other options available at the moment.
Sorry no pic. I'll try to get one later.
Edit: It looks like those have an extension on the lock release to allow you to use your thumb, mine doesn't have that. But mine has the lock release on both sides so that you can switch the harness to the other side to make it usable for a leftie.
-
I have that CZ holster with the thigh extension. My finger is too long to access the release button so it's been collecting dust for a few months. If anyone wants it make me an offer.
It fits both the Phantom and SP01.
-
You're 1 day too late...I order mine yesterday...
-
When ordering a Blade-Tech holster for a CZ 75 Shadow, which model should I choose for best fit? (they don't have that exact one listed)
-
I ordered a Blade-Tech holster from czcustom. I called tham and asked what to buy for my 75 Shadow T.
It was a CZ 75 SA with DOH.
http://czcustom.com/BT-DOH-CZ75B-CZ85-and-SA-Right-Hand.aspx
Right now it's back at Blade-Tech because I want to use it for IDPA and USPSA and the screws holding the DOH extender are Locktite'd in.
The extended mag release does scrape on the holster. Other than that it's OK.

I bought a fobus paddle holster for a glock 21 that fits my sp 01 tactical pretty darn good!!
Also my Fobus paddle light holster for the Glock 17 fits my SP01 + light pretty well!

I ordered another one from high noon now its a waiting game.... tic...toc...tic...toc...

I just yesterday received a Comp-tac belt holster I ordered.
http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=66
Make: CZ
Model: SP-01 Tactical
Fits my 75 Shadow T very well. I plan to use it for IDPA and save the Blade-Tek for USPSA.
I will add that I think the Comp-tac is a better made holster and fits better too.
-
Just a quick update... They are in the process (about 2 weeks along) of making gun molds of my SP-01 tac with and with out a TLR-1s light so holsters should be available in the very near future.
Will these molds be available to purchase?

alrobert, very nice!
Question for those who own both, those holsters that are finely boned/moulded, like kydex and very heavily boned leather for the SP01, do they fit the Phantom? Or does the Phantom only fit holsters loosly boned for the Sp01?
Can anybody provide an answer to this question? My leather guy has a dummy for the Phantom, and we both haven't been able to find a dummy/mold for the Shadow.
Will a leather Phantom holster work for the Shadow?
I see differences listed on some holster makers websites between the two, but what is different between the two guns? Frame width?
-
Does anyone here have experience with LHS Holsters? They're a company out of Bulgaria that mostly deals with Kydex products. They've got a nice (looking) concealment holster for the SP series weapons on their site, and the prices seem reasonable. I like the fact that they list the option of a holster for a weapon with light attached.

Today I received an Uncle Mike's Pro 3 holster for law enforcement use. This generic holster surprised me. It fits my Shadow and Phantom perfectly and provides great retention to boot.
I am expecting to receive this week a HDL duty holster from Front Line, Israel. Once I get this I'll put up pictures of both with my guns and give an evaluation.

Excellent! I may actually need to get that drop thigh rig for hunting season, of all things, to clear the backpack - we always carry sidearms hunting around here, never know what you might run into
-
so I am looking for a holster for CZ 75 Shadow T, should I look for a holster that is for an sp01 or 75. Looking for something for IDPA.
-
The Kirkpatrick Leather Texas Strong Side is specifically made for the Shadow. I love mine.
-
Comp tac holster is too tight for Phantom. I had to send back. They will try to loosen.
-
I have a Gould & Goodrich B803 for my Sig P225, got it for $30 or so- it's surprisingly well made and works well. It fits my Phantom to a T, square trigger guard and everything. It has a thumb break so if that's not your thing... Phantom is just a smidge longer than the 225 and carries twice as many rounds with the non-extended 16 rounder. No reason to carry that anymore.
-
Picked up a Silent Thunder Champion holster from Garrett Industries http://garrettindustries.mybigcommerce.com/silent-thunder-champion/ for my SP01 Shadow Target. Great company, terrific service. They'll custom mold a holster for whatever CZ/variant you have.
Worth noting that the holster is leather-lined (dark brown) kydex. Not cheap, but worth the money to prevent abnormal wear on the gun's finish.

How is the draw out of that leather? I got my Double Alpha Academy PDR yesterday and it is sticking on the draw. It may need to be broken-in or treated.

Anyone knows www.zahal.org ? I ordered the IMI-Z1340, it fits the SP-01 Shadow, haven't got it yet. let you know if it's oke.
@ tdogg, I ordered the same holster, and as far as I know, iTac is actually IMI ( Israeli Military Industries )
Another advantage for me is the shippingcosts from Israel to Holland are substantially lower than from the USA.
Including shippingfees $ 39,50.
-
Wel, I just got my holster in the mail. feels good, fits good ( even without belt in jeans ) and looks good.
The retention feels sturdy and locks fine. It's easy to release after you get the hang of it.
It will take some practice to automatically find the releasebutton and draw fast without looking, but I'll get it in time.

@ Batt57,
Very nice holster.
Concerning stickyness, new leather or suede lined holsters do not release as smoothly as they will once worn in.
Some advice to use oil or leather-slick but that results in a "dirty"gun, or it stains the finish on the frame.
Practice your draw a couple a hundred times :P that might smooth things up.
There are allready drawmarks on my Shadow, but hey, good tools are to be used.

Drop down thigh, kydex holster for a Phantom with a TLR1s, anything like that out there?

can anyone tell me about the spo1 shadowmate, i just purchased one last week. It is a upgarded version as far as i understand. Does anyone have one yet and if so how do you like it. I really am interested in some reviews. I paid 1350 for this baby and would like to know am i getting what i paid for. I know spo1 shadows are great guns for competitive shooting and that is what i am going to be doing. Any feedback would be great.

@ speedgunner,
If you use the searchbox you might find something, but I think you mean "czechmate"instead of "shadowmate" ?

@Speedgunner,
I read your message, you're right ;) very nice looking gun, let us know how it performs.

Someone on the the forum suggested the Safariland 528-83-61 which looks like a decent holster from Optics Planet. I called them and they stated that it was made for a Glock. Anyone ordered this for a CZ75 Sp-01. Having a real hard time finding something in my budget. Thank you.

Thanks to everyone who replied. Being a new pistol owner, I liked the security of a retention holster and ended up buying the Blackhawk Serpa Concealment which includes both the paddle and belt loop. I had read on the forum where my SP-01 would fit the Sig228/229 holster so I went to my local gun shop and tried it. They were a little skeptical that it would fit.
The sales guy opened the hostler package and inserted the CZ and stated that he thought it would work then preceded to hold it up and shake it. Guess what, the CZ FELL TO THE FLOOR AND HIT THE GUYS FOOT AND THE CARPETING. DUMB A***. For those of you that know this holster it has a retention screw that you can loosen and tighten for the tension that you need. He did not know this.My CZ sticks out about a 1/2 or so at the end but no big deal. Hope it helps someone else looking for a similar solution.
Also by the way, since I am new to this, I wanted something that would fit my budget and this works well.

Didn't feel like shopping around for holsters, so I made my own. Cheapie kydex, but it will work for now. I've got some leather and tools on the way to try that out.

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a retention holster for use with the SP01 Phantom. Most of the SP01 holsters are too tight to accomodate the thicker polymer frame of the Phantom; it suddenly occured to me that the P09 holsters might be a match, in particular the Hogue Powerspeed Sport holster http://www.getgrip.com/PDF%20files/2013_hogue_catalog/page_28_29_holsters_belts.pdf
Could anyone confirm whether the SP01 Phantom can be used in the above holster??
-
The Glock Sport Holster for 45acp/10mm pistols fits my SP01 Phantom perfectly. I did modifed it slightly but it wasn't necessary as it fit well. I SOB carry my Phantom with this holster.

What about the Shadow Line? CZ75 holsters? CZ85?

Just wanted to add that the Blackhawk Ruger P95 holster WILL fit and lock the pistol into place, but there is some mild front/black swivel which /occasionally/ hits the mag release. Ultimately it works and it's what I'm using right now until I can buy a Kydex one.

Right here is the problem... if you have the gun pressed towards you, like your car seat pressing against it... the mag release hits the small plastic ridge there and trips it. The solution is to glue a small foam or plastic block directly above the mag release and it prevents it from happening.
Ultimately Kydex is the way to go being a custom fit and this is only temporary until I have 50 dollars for one.

I use an IMI holster for the SP-01, this is similar in operation to the Black hawk Serpa.
At the moment I am trying to find a light bearing holster to suit the SP-01, any ideas.

I think that's the holster from http://www.jmcustomkydex.com/ .... I just ordered on myself.

Just adding a pic of the Blade-Tech. In this case, it was the belt/'stingray' version, which I removed the belt clip and use a MLS for simple attachment or removal/swapping to my Safariland leg drop w/receiver.

I see IMI/IWI being mentioned - same holsters are graded as SigTac and I believe iTac as well. You can likely find their holsters shipping from the US or on eBay vs ordering and waiting for one to come from Israel. I've got one for my PPQ, and overall, it's OK, although needs to have the retention mechanism broken in - just put a gun in it and let it sit a while..mine loosened up to be better/not needing to push so hard to get retention within a few weeks and a match or two.
-
I really like the Garrett Industries Silent Thunder Champion for my SP-01. Kydex outer and leather inner. Caries very well and smooth draw and reholster.

PS - just have to add- resizing images is easy. Those posting 3000-4000 pixel wide images...not sure it adds much. If I need to scroll 2-3 SCREENS on a HD monitor, do you think anyone in their right mind is going to look at your pics on a phone or tablet?
Imageshack, imgur and others allow for re-sizing, or it's easy to do via various editing programs like various Adobe programs, Picass, Preview...
Ideal forum image posting width is somewhere between 800-1024 wide, sometimes 1280, but please consider resizing some of the insanely wide/never going to look at images.. :(
Oldfrank's post above ^ is perfect, you can actually see it, and aren't looking at a 10x magnified 'who knows what it is' because the image is so wide..
We now bring you back to holsters.. ;D

I'm getting the DAA pdr pro

I have the IMI Roto Retention holster. While it fits and look good, the retention spring is too strong, not good for comp holster.
I'm getting DAA PDR Pro too, but didn't realize there's no suede lining on the pro. I've been dry firing and already have holster wear. I was hoping to not aggravate it any further

Is blade tech my only option for an SP-01 with a TLR1?
-
Went with Blade tech for my Phantom because I wanted kydex, very happy with it. Good quality, great fit, fair price, and pretty adjustable as far as how you want it to sit on your waist. Recommended to anyone that would prefer kydex to leather. :)

In Reading through this post, it has gone a lot of directions an I'm not sure this was answered. Does anyone ccw the sp-01 and in what position. I'm thinking about it and I can't figure a good position without it printing. That alone how would it print with an IWB holster? Perhaps I need baggier or larger waistband pants?

My SP01 Tactical fits in my Bravo concealment OWB holster for the Phantom.

I am currently carrying my SP-01 in a Hidden Hybrid Holster. It is a tuckable IWB like many of the others on the market and working pretty well currently. I have had it for about a week. Today I carried it about 12 hrs and approximately 300 miles in my vehicle. I carry it between 3:30 and 4:30 depending on sitting or standing. I am a bigger guy(6'3" and 260) and can cover it with a baggier Polo and kaki 's that are a size bigger than normal. I have to balloon the Polo a little more than normal. As long as I have the angle right it does not print unless I am obviously careless about my movement. If I pull over an unlined nylon or polyester windbreaker it completely disappears no matter what I do. Granted I have not carried long and there are probably better solutions, but this is working for me and the quality of the Holster is very good. I recommend getting the plastic belt clips as the metal ones are not good with a nice belt and the plastic slides on the belt nicely when you need it to. The guys at HHH are great to work with. Call them if you have questions. I actually stopped in unannounced thinking they had a store front (they don't it is a work shop only for now) and they where fantastic.
Hope this helps
Matt
In edit.
Forgot to mention that this holster can double as an OWB. Just remove the IWB clips. You can see the OWB holes in the pics.

I had this exchange with Ready Holster for anyone looking for an inexpensive holster:
All the CZ75 variants go in the same holster since they all basically
have the same size and shape. Since the Kadet attachment doesn't change
the overall size and shape it will still use the same holster as without
the Kadet attachment. So to keep things simple I'll give you the links
for the holster sizes below:
Size BA-15 fits 4.5" to 5" barrel semi-autos with no attachments on the
rail. So this will fit any CZ in the entire CZ 75 series that has the
4.7" barrel length, but will not fit any of them if there is an
attachment on the rail. Here is the listing for it (open carry belt
holster):
http://www.readyholster.com/belt-clip-side-holster-size-ba15-p-7176
If you have any attachment on the rail, then the following holster would
fit any CZ in the entire CZ 75 series with the 4.7" barrel and would
work with an attachment on the rail like the SureFire X300. However,
this holster won't work well if there is no attachment on the rail (open
carry belt holster):
http://www.readyholster.com/belt-clip-side-holster-size-ba15-l-for-guns-with-rail-mounted-lasers-or-taclights-p-7177
Bottom line, if you plan on using your gun sometimes with the light
attached and sometimes not...you'll need both holsters. If you are
always going to have the light attached, then you would only need the
BA-15L (2nd link above).
We don't carry any holsters that would work for IWB concealment with the
light accessory attached, but we do have one that will work without any
accessories attached here:

I recently discovered that the Gould and Goodrich model 807 or B807 for the S&W M&P model will fit a CZ75 SP-01 well. It is a quality leather paddle holster with adjustable can't and thumb break. The thumb break is the perfect size to cover the hammer while decocked (i.e. half-cocked on safety notch) but is not quite long enough to snap in around a cocked hammer.

When you say decocked, do you mean as in half cock where the decocker puts the hammer at? Or do you mean Hammer down?
If hammer down, just wondering if the leather strap could stretch enough to use at half cock.
-
Sorry for not being more clear. The thumb break fits perfectly over the hammer in the half-cocked (on safety notch) position.

In a world that adores Kydex (aka - my BladeTech IDPA holster pack), I wanted a padded holster that covers most of my SP-01 for walking through the woods, briars etc. Received the Bianchi UM92II this week and it's all I hoped for. Well designed for today's military (Beretta) and many large frame pistols, it carries well on my simple jeans belt. The holster can be modified in a few ways like removing top flap cover to use a thumb strap, convert to shoulder holster etc.
Also found the SP-01 fits my old Safariland 1000 leather shoulder holster and sort of the Safariland 569-53 leather belt holster. Don't like the fit of that last one personally.

I have a Stealthgear mini IWB for my SP-01 Shadow. It's very comfortable, I wear it about 3:30 position, so the barrel sits just behind my hip socket (which is about 2" straight back from the lower corner of my front pocket opening). The half-shell kydex is mounted in a FBI cant to a "ventcore" backing by 6 screws over 3 thick rubber grommets and so is adjustable at each point for tension. It has 3 holes for each of the 2 belt clips, which have 2 holes each also for a good bit of adjustability. I cut a hole in the end for my threaded barrel with a dremel and stone, works perfectly. I also have a CZC extended left-side safety. It will catch on the leading edge of the ventcore backing when re-holstering if you don't guide the pistol in correctly, but when wearing it I don't even notice the safety pushing into me, I guess due to the backing. I hope it doesn't wear a hole in it, it hasn't so far, I guess I'll sew on a piece of leather or something if it does. I got the angled belt clips when I ordered it so it pushes the grip into me, and even with the CZC magwell and TT mag extensions it doesn't print as long as my shirt's not too tight, but I'm kind of hollow all the way around my waist, so YMMV. For the most part I don't really even notice that I have it on, a good stiff belt helps (not that kind), I wear an Elite Survival rigger's belt (1.75" with the D-ring) or a TUFF belt easy-feed (1.5"), which is pretty thick but the clips still fit. The holster is pricey, about $100 with shipping, but I didn't want to wonder if something better would have been more comfortable or a better fit and I didn't want to add to my drawer full of holsters I bought and don't like, so I said screw it and bought it, and I like it a lot. I don't have any other IWB holster to compare it to, though. I considered the Alien Gear at half the price and very fast delivery (from all accounts), but didn't think it would be a soft and breathable, and they only listed the phantom as the closest model to mine - it probably makes no difference, but I - so far, anyway - don't have any buyer's remorse over what I got. I plan on getting an Alien gear backing in the future to make a mag carrier out of, so I'll update then on the materials comparison.

Check out gunfightersinc.com they make great stuff... Just shoot them an email to see if they have your light... If they do, I'm sure they can do it as they have the sp01 tactical mold. I have one for my g19 and love it! Rides super close to the body for an owb. Will be buying one for my cz soon.

Blackhawk Omnivore TLR1/2 fits SP01 pretty well.
Not sure how it would hold up to duty use but holster body seems good. I have my doubts about the robustness of the retention mechanism since the activation button and shaft appears to be plastic. But hey, a lot of things are. I like the idea of 3 activation pad heights to personalize it for thumb length and gun model. If you pull before activating it will not disengage.
Also you can tailor the draw post release of the active retention mechanism by tightening the screw on the back (under curve of paddle in photo). Says it's compatible with all their belt/rig attachments just make sure you have the right length screws for the application. Along those same lines, it is adjustable for cant and came with paddle and belt slide. Even though the setup is bulky I could conceal it pretty well under a baggy raincoat while road tripping for Resurrection weekend (I'm 6'2" 245 longish torso 46"-48" coat).
Good height sight channel and a little less than an inch at the bottom would most likely accommodate aftermarket sights and a threaded barrel I think.
My only concern is something Blackhawk mentions in passing in the user guide. Some firearms will fit and lock in but since the light body is what the holster latches onto and firearms dimensions obviously vary in many ways, the trigger may be accessible due to incomplete covering of the guard area. The SP01 is about at the limit I would feel comfortable with and only because I carry it cocked and locked. I would have to think real hard about sticking a striker fired handgun in it unless that firearm frame allows it to sit lower. You can insert a finger from the back and depress trigger. Gotta practice good trigger finger discipline and the groove and overmolded body are good index points. Also, check holster is clear of obstruction before reholstering and should be good.
I guess that is the sacrifice of a multi fit but for just under $50 and the fact that a CZ and light fit well might make it a good option for some. I will use it for range and since this is a night stand gun, will be hooked to a belt to throw on with a couple mags if need be.

I'm considering a UBG Holsters 'Regulator' for my SP-01: http://www.ubgholsters.com/styled/styled-2/
His list of guns includes the "SP01 Phantom" but not the standard SP-01.
Does anyone have both a polymer Phantom and a regular steel framed gun that could give me feedback on if the dimensions are pretty close? I'm guessing they are - at least for the parts going inside the holster - and the only real difference would be any boning in the holster's sweat shield for the decocker of the Phantom vs the safety on my SP-01.
Thanks!

Red hill tactical makes some great looking competition holsters for quite a few CZ's
I am picking one up for my shadow 2 with a "black drop" (this is a green drop)

I probably would never try to Conceal carry a shadow 2, but if Idid
I would go with Stealthgear. I have several of their IWB and OWB holsters for my M&P shield

Just tried my phantom in my safariland ALS holster for p09. Fits like a glove but doesn't lock obviously because of the chamber opening being closed on top of the phantom and open on the p09. Also fits in my Hogue p09 holster with trigger guard retention device. Retention and release both work well. Nice to have holsters that accept multiple guns.
Figured the phantom would fit most p09 holsters as the trigger guard and frame are so similarly shaped.

hopefully you all can help me.
I have an sp-01 with an extended TS safety. Carry condition 1. I need an OWB holster that is preferably Safariland QLS compatible, but if has a "low rise" or "drop" belt loop that will be ok too. I have a short torso, long arms, and a bad right shoulder... highrise or concealment style holsters do not work for me at all. Finally I'm looking for something compatible with a light - inforce apl3. Any suggestions?

I just got my Black Rhino Concealment ACS appendix carry holster for my SP-01 Tactical a few days ago. It carries really well. I'm gonna order a few more for my other CCW's as well...

Safariland ALS - My SP01 clone TriStar P120 fits into it quite nicely. Their website says it's not compatible, but it absolutely works. There's some space between the holster and the trigger guard, though. But being owb, I'd say it's not an issue.

I'm sure the answer is no, but before i reach out to kt mech since they seem the only one i can find who will support this combo, I thought i'd ask.
I have an sp01 with an x300. Any idea if any of the safariland active retention holsters for another pistol will work with this combo? I'd much prefer a safariland duty holster over anyone elses.

I purchased a Comp Tac International, left hand, for my Shadow 2 and am very happy with it.

When I was shooting in competition I used a Blade Tech for my Phantom and it worked really well. I recently bought a TSO and while I don't think it will ever be a carry gun I do like to have holsters for all my guns. Wright Leather makes a really nice holster for the Shadow II. I called them and they are making a small alteration so it will fit a TSO. That said they obviously have nice leather holsters for Shadows and Phantoms. BTW, my TSO thinks I am a better shooter than my other guns.

I've attached and Olight Baldr Pro weaponlight to my Shadow 1.
Can anyone recommend a holster that will accommodate this setup?
Thanks!

Looking for a holster for a SP-01 Tactical with suppressor height sights and a Trijicon SRO. Hopefully compatible with a Safariland dropleg rig. Will be used as a " Range " holster not for carry. I do have the QLS adapters.

Also looking for OWB and dropleg holsters for the CZ SP-01 and CZ Phantom w light. Pics and urls to sellers and/or your purchases for reference most appreciated. Thanks!

FWIW - Bawidamann (https://bawidamann.com/gotham-x300u-aiwb-light-holster-glock-s-w-v2/)'s Glock/S&W Gotham V2 w/X300U fits an SP01 with an X300 on it like a glove.

Thanks. The model you shared is made for a Glock. Do you have this holster? Can you take a few pics of the your SP-01 w light? Would like to see how it fits the holster. Thank you.
@All: Anyone else have a holster recommendation for a SP-01 Phantom with a light? Has anyone added a red dot on theirs?
Thank you!

I bought a holster for my SP01 from Dara holsters (my son also bought one from them for his OR P10F.

I have a SP01 Shadow (1) with the CZC RDS plate system. Wanted to run it with a light.
Bought a Blackhawk Omnivore and installed Blackhawk’s Tech-loc knockoff belt adapter.
Tried their duty-type belt slot adapter but the holster requires a rather firm platform and that adapter allowed/caused the belt to flex too much which hung up the draw.
Holster also works with my P10F with the light installed.
Holster leaves a significant gap behind the trigger but for range and competition, it will do. Wouldn’t want to necessarily rely upon it in a knock-down drag out fight.

The Dara Light bearing Level II Package looks promising. What customized things did you add to your belt? Battlebelt, mag carriers, belt mount, etc. Thanks.
