Just picked up a new Rami today and it is as stiff as you say. There is no dropping the slide on an empty mag at this point. The mag release is also pretty stiff. Interesting enough, it was also bone dry. I just finished a throrough cleaning and am going to leave it wet for my first range trip tomorrow. I plan on running 200 rounds through it so we will see what that does. I?ll report back later.
Ran 250 through mine today and the slide release is definitely loosening up. Still can?t drop it with a mag inserted but there is a difference. I am a slingshotter regardless so it?s not that big a deal for me. The mag release is also working itself in too. Great little shooter.
If you are talking about not being able to release the slide on an empty magazine without pulling the slide back first. That is the way the RAMI is designed

I had the same issue when I first got my RAMI. All the other semi-autos I owned allowed one to release the slide without "slingshotting". I contacted CZ since I thought that I had a defective RAMI. They informed me of the "feature".
