We have 3 1911?s that aren?t as fun to field strip. But if my dad comes over he enjoys cleaning the toys. I don?t complain, he taught me all I know I about guns.

I hate field stripping my STI edge.  Since it has the long dust-cover, you can't put the paperclip in while the slide is on the frame.  Which means you have to push the recoil spring with your thumb to put it in after you take the slide off.  I bought one of those Dawson tool-less guild-rods, and didn't think it helped much.

My P210-5 is also a pain to strip because you have to take the front sight off to remove the barrel.

A FN CAL is fine until you get to the bolt.  IMO, too many parts and pieces compared to an AR-15 bolt, an AR-18 style bolt, or an AK bolt.  Ian from Forgotten Weapons uploaded a video yesterday to his channel about the CAL.

Remington Model 51 is a horrible pain to take apart.  It is a great little gun, fits your hand great, points naturally and is pleasant to shoot.  Then you go to take it apart and start to curse the name of Pedersen.
