In dry firing now, it looks like the trigger issue  may partly be my pad placement. Righty, it?s relatively smooth regardless of position or if I roll my finger pad. Lefty, I seem to have to get it on there just about straight on, which is interesting.
i would not dry fire CZ pistols without snap-caps....you will find many posts here about that subject. Congrats on the purchase of the P10C!

I literally can't imagine a modern pistol that you cannot safely dry fire, which is core to training.
