Watch how he catches the decocking spring as he rotates the left side lever into place. The cool part stats at around (1:50).

WARNING - one wrong move and it will slash up the nice finish on the P01 - NOT RECOMMENDED.  Do it with the P07 - NOT the P01.

Did this on my P07 last night.  Works well and forever changes how I reassemble the P07/P09s in the collection.

I do something very similar that I can’t remember were I saw basically put the decocker on while straight up and then use a polymer cleaning puck to very slightly separate left aid from frame to allow rotation and push back together. Never scratched a 75 omega and works well on the p07 etc. This may be even quicker though.

Can it be done with no scratch?  Obviously. Can one wrong move put a ding I’m your finish?  Yup.
