TS2 Blue trigger
« on: March 25, 2023, 08:18:25 AM »
I did a search and didn't find anything, so here goes....
I have a TS2 Blue that I want to shoot IPSC with. Up here in Kanada, I have found that they want a 3 pound trigger pull. I don't know exactly what it is, but it is light. I have read that it's 1 1/2 lbs. I don't want to mess with this beautiful trigger, but is there any way to bring it up a bit?

Cheers

Heavier trigger return spring.  Main spring won't do much on a SA trigger but maybe a tiny bit.

If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

I think that I read that some shooters would use the cz 97 .45 cal trigger spring or something like that. Using a part from another model CZ.

I replied in one of the earlier threads on similar subject

CGW makes a hammer for the tactical sports which they claim increases pull weight from 1.5# to just under 3#. I would give it a try.

I have done the double sear spring mod, and recall it increases weight by about 1#, good noticeable difference. I had to open up the sear to have enough room to accomodate two sear springs

You might have to do both mods, CGW hammer and double sear spring to gwt reliable over 3 lbs, although both these may take you close to 4 lbs in all. Some trial and error would be required perhaps.
Life is too short to waste on a bad trigger pull
