What are all you guys using in a copper plated or JHP or FMJ round in your 9mm luger CZ 75 BD?
Hornady 124gr FMJ RN and its cheaper alternative Precision Delta 124gr FMJ OAL 1.150"
Hornady 125gr HAP (JHP) and its cheaper alternative Precision Delta 124gr JHP OAL 1.069"

Is there a powder manufacture that has us CZ?

What are all you guys using in a copper plated or JHP or FMJ round in your 9mm luger CZ 75 BD?

From thread: New CZ and restart on reloading....

Without knowing your intended use, here's where I'd start...

? Win 231 (aka Hodgdon HP-38) or Win WSF powder  (all 3 are common with lots of load data)
? 500 Berry 124gr Hollow Base RN bullets
? Winchester WSP small pistol primers

There's not going to be anything hard to find or extravagantly expensive about these components. The ammo will be easy and fun to assemble, and you'll have a very wide load range so you can make "powder puff" loads or some fairly hot competition loads.

It's not going to be the last word in accuracy or the hottest ticket in town, but it will allow you to load in safety while you refine your reloading process and learn about your reloading press. By the time you finish shooting those you'll know more about what you like and don't like, and you'll have the skills necessary to load almost anything you want.

Hope this helps.   ;)

Friend, it's your powder selection that makes things seem like you've been thrown into the "deep end" on your first swimming lesson.

I have been reloading 9mm for my CZs for about 9 months and have learned a ton here at this site. I have been relatively successful with 1000 PD's, 1000 Hornady's, 500 Rainier's and 250 Blue Bullets. I have used Titegroup exclusively because I bought too much of it. I do not like using it because of the narrow load window and the low case volume. I have got a mixed bag of great accuracy, easy control and clean burning but it's hard to couple these fine features together. It does feel like the Deep End. I hope to try HP-38 or some VV soon enough.

Well, if there was ever such a thing as a "man on the street interview" for a web forum, then that's it.

Thanks, Mike !
