I have also dumped all my CZ's except for 2 P-10C's (Black & FDE). I am not in love with the brand the way I once was.

There are certainly a lot of great pistols out there, especially striker-fired. And the CZ P-10 series will undoubtedly prove to be among the best.

But IF you like the added safety margin of DA/SA pistols there are fewer choices out there; and for 9mm and 40 S&W IMHO CZ is at the very top of that short list.

I especially like the fact that I can have the identical 'manual of arms' from my sub-compact RAMI BD, Compact P-01, P-07, and Full-size P-09, up to my SP-01 Tactical ( all are set up with Red Dots and BUIS ). Sweet shooters indeed!

But, each to their own.   JMO

I have sold all of my Cz's except for a P01 which is currently for sale. Most of the Cz's I have owned have had some kind of quality issue or another and CZ's customer service was horrible at best.

I've owned many CZ's over the years now and never run into any problems with the standard 75 variants. Two times I needed CZ customer service and they were stellar to say the least. I'd rate them higher than most and they are very good at fixing issues the FIRST time around.
Maybe you could be more specific in your post and elaborate otherwise this is just another useless and vague opinion.

Seems the utilitarian in me won out. The new P10F?s are awesome, but I have so many amazing full size CZ?s I couldn?t justify at this time.

Enter the black P01. It will be getting a full pro kit from CGW and will become EDC option #1.
I’ve got a few CZ’s...

Well to be fair I have never dealt with another gun manufactures customer service before. I have owned a lot of different guns by a lot of different manufactures, but the only guns I have ever had problems with were CZ's. Anything from factory sights falling off to catch springs popping out to rear slide plates dropping out of place or even bulged polymer frames.

The P-01 was ok, but the SP-01, 97BD, and the others were boat anchors.

My first three CZ's were polymer framed guns.

The P07 DUTY (.40 S&W) has a small amount of bulge on the right side of the frame where the front metal frame insert is located.  So what.  It is 100% reliable, shoots like you wouldn't believe (embarrasses the S&W, Browning, XDM and Glock pistols I own - and some of the metal framed CZ's, too), feels good in my hand and was worth the expense of the RMR installation/work.

The P09 (9MM) is still the most accurate center fire semi-auto pistol I've ever shot.  Too big for me to carry as long as I have the P07 but still worth the expense of the RMR treatment and it is the bedroom/range pistol now.

The P09 (.40 S&W) wasn't as accurate as the P07 or the P09 before it.  Still accurate enough that when my wife shot it she completely lost interest in her XDM 3.8" 9MM she was so proud of up to that day.  Forced me to buy her a CZ75 Compact so I could keep my P09 .40.

None of the plastic framed pistols have broken.

CZ 85 (Pre B) was in pretty sad condition when I bought it.  There's a thread here showing all the dirt, crud, wear/tear on it prior to the rebuild.  The darn thing is tough as a tank.  There's another thread here showing the absolute lack of damage to the pistol after a healthy dose of Blue Dot under a 115 grain hollow point separated the whole rim of a Winchester 9MM case from the case body one day.  All I had to deal with was a really dirty magazine/chamber area in the pistol and a quick field strip to dig that case body out of the chamber.  Imagine what it would have looked like if it had been a glock/M&P/or other plastic framed pistol like you see on the internet when they suffer a "kaboom".  Another full sized pistol, it's just bigger than I want to carry concealed.

I've got a few CZ75 Compacts of various models, bought for one reason or another (mostly - wow, that's neat looking) in the last few years.  I conceal carry a couple of those sometimes, in place of the P07.  There is just something about the way the P01's feel in my hand.  Something I like more than the CZ75 Compacts or even the P07.  But the P07 has the RMR and I feel it has always been a bit more accurate than even the P01's with the CGW barrel bushing, so it stays my EDC concealed #1 choice.

I like reliability, I like accuracy, I like a pistol that feels good in my hand.  I have a safe with several brands/models/calibers of other big name makers of semi-auto pistols that don't meet those three requirements.  I recently took a couple of the other 9MM pistols to the range and confirmed they won't shoot groups the CZ's shoot.  Gonna try the .40's (M&P, Glock) against the P07 and P09 on an upcoming range trip.

No matter what brand is your favorite, sooner or later, you can run into a problem.  Or you can perceive a non-problem to be a problem.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I own a CZ 75B, SP01 Tactical and a PO7 for years, all 9mm.
Never had any quality/manufacturer problem with any of them.
Love the brand!

Still vague statements. What catch springs? what side plates? The very early P-07 DUTY models had a frame bulge issue but CZ replaced ANY of those that were returned with new updated guns so no complaints on service there.
You don't even say what gun(s) you had issues with.
I sent an S&W 640 Pro series back 3x's before it was returned properly fixed. Springfield XDS went back straight out of the box for a trigger that tightened up the more it was fired. Walther PPK/S went back 2x's before they got the safety/decocker right.
Tried a gen 4 block that is now doing the backstroke because they couldn't get the worthless thing to not eject spent cases into my nose.
I've had far and away more real QC issues with non CZ guns than with CZ's.

I have had quite a few sig 229s and various hks p2000, ups, hk45ct. They are all nice guns, I am just starting to dip my toe into cz p07 as it seems good value especially to try an rmr set up on. I do like that the P07 and the hk45c are noticeably thinner than my normal p229 carry. My favorite only complaint with hk is the double action pull is a bit rediculous and the price is fairly high if you want to play around with customization. Though more and more I am considering switching to 45 as edc as it can reliably cycle things like snake shot and I live around a fairly large population of water moccasins.

I am if the mindset of the more options the better so have fun trying other guns. Do yourself a favor and keep a couple different calibers available just in case ammo is harder to buy as it was a few years ago.

There are a lot of things I like about my P-07, for sure. But the trigger is pretty bad (certainly the worst out-of-the-box trigger of any DA/SA I've owned)- a ridiculous amount of take-up, gritty and mushy. At some point, maybe I'll get around to swapping out springs and upgrading it. In the meantime, it sure makes me appreciate the SRT trigger on my Sigs...  ;)

Yep I agree with that.My P229 Legion and M11A1 have sweet triggers to be sure. I recently upgraded my P-07 with the CGW short reset kit so now with that and the CGW hammer and spring kit that was already in the gun the P-07 is right on par with the Sigs as far as the trigger goes. I'd really love to have a set of the Xray3 style sights for the CZ though.
