I personally passed on the steel frame when they were available to purchase about 3-4 months ago from riflegear and subprime and went with P01 Omega. They retail for about $679+shipping. So its safe to say that they average about $700.

Hiya bacon and beer and thanks for the thread. And hope you are a step closer to picking up your cz. And wasn't completely sure if the 900 with no custom work was for a all steel compact 75 p-01. I googled and found a czc omega for 550,and the same one for 650 on the cz-usa site,so but they can switch safeties and are ambi. And if you under the impression that you can't have CGW mod done,I'd invest in a call to his shop to double dog check. CZC was able to do my mods no problem with the omega. If it was the year 2012 that was a different story, but the tech has caught up a few years ago to do the mods to dockers and omegas. So price wise you'd be close with a new one, with your mods included for the 900 you are investing in used. Be well.

As far as pricing these think about this, 99021 has only 1400 on the market total, with no plans for more.   99041 has less than that, I have seen 400-800 mentioned, but no info where someone called and got the data from CZ direct.  So only around 2000ish total out there for a Railed CZ-75 Compact with a steel frame.  They notably differ from the standard 75 Compact by the upswept beavertail, which seems to be what makes them unique, besides the rail and steel frame of course.

I say go for it. It?s only money. You mentioned sending it out for custom work so it seems money isn?t the issue here.

Mine is stock except for the Lok grips and hammer spring.

I love it in every way. It?s exactly what I was looking for in a pistol and wouldn?t sell it for any amount.

Find one that looks good and ENJOY :D

Hey badwrench, yeah this is for the nightstand, classes and range fun, so weight isn't an issue. Honestly I love the feel of it. As far as carry goes I really prefer something ultra-compact and super light.

Currently sport an S&W Bodyguard 380 that I got for super cheap from a buddy. Trigger sucks but I've trained around it. I saw that as a starter and have been looking for something to upgrade to for a while now, interested in the 365 but I carry appendix and that trigger is a little light for my taste.

So I did pick up the 99041 and I am glad that I did!

It's in fantastic shape, could pass for brand new. Loving it. As a bonus, dude I bought it from was cool--a very passionate collector--and I'll likely hit up the range with him some time.

Thanks for the input folks, much appreciated!

I definitely picked it up and am glad I did! It is exactly what I wanted, albeit a little more than I had planned on paying. And the nicest part is this guy is as good as new. Or rather was as good as new.

Adrian, I was going to go with a P01 Omega variant, likely the suppressor ready cause why not. I actually reached out to Cajun and the one thing they can't do with the omegas is modify them so the safety can be used when the hammer is fully decocked (that's according to David). That said I did not think to check with CZ...

Old school safeties are one thing that makes the wife happy about firearms in the house, you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes!

Congrats on a fine choice! It will pay for itself after hours of enjoyment and at the range :D

How do you like the grips? Post a pic if you decide to go with something other than the standard rubber ones.

That's a sweet buy, perfect for putting on a light and keeping it as a tactical weapon. I have been looking for one almost a month now; Let me know if you ever see another one  :o

I've heard a rumor that a high polish version may be going up on Gun Broker soon, but I'm not sure if it will actually happen.

At the moment she is completely stock. I plan on putting on new grips and CGW night sights next month, will post some pics then. Then I will wait a good bit of time to get acquainted with the stock trigger (and allow the bank account to regroup) before getting upgrades, so maybe next year.

There is a 99021 on an auction page which was $700 this morning, just refreshed the page and it has jumped up to $800 with 31 bids so far. People really do want those steel frame P01.

Which?  Big difference if original or CGW mostly.

Reading the auction the guy states he's changed the sights and grips so stock internally. It is on Gunbroker.

I see it....  trigger too.  It?ll go to more.  There is at least one GB bidder that got there left from the last one that went to $910.

This thread could be influencing it too.
