There were three different P01 with steel frame. The 99021 came first then 99041 after and at the end there the 91197 which is a highly polished steel frame version.

Only that 99021 and 99041 aren?t P-01.  They are 75 Compact.  I think the beaver tail is more SP-01 like so they were getting called an SP-01 variant by the market.   Not a lot of difference though.  I?d hesitate to lump them in with 91197, but not long.

Personally I think of these as P-01 steel frame pistols. If you have any of these three and you go looking for holster it will fit a P-01 holster and it will not fit a CZ 75 Compact holster.

True on the holster due to the rail.  Nice of CZ to keep things straight forward.  99021 is likely called 75 Compact since that is how the original customer ordered it.  I don?t know the story on the other 2.  Haven?t run across them yet to bother much on the research.

Well there's a 99041 on Gunbroker as of this morning (that claims to be in like new condition as well) so I suppose I'll see how much I overpaid in a few days!

At $506 right now.

My guess is I came in about $200 higher than I could have gotten a similar piece for. For whatever reason I think the 99021s seem to be in greater demand, having one on at the same time will likely drive the price down some. Hope CZ_Obsessed is paying attention to GB

That $506 one seems odd.  Is your slide marked as a P-01?  I understood that the model was labeled 75 Compact like the 99021.

Roll marks are the only difference between the two?the older model says Compact, the 99041 says SP 01.

Yes, and that?s what I find so absurd about the disparity in price. Anyway, it?s nice to see them floating around out there :D

Ha, granted there?s a lot of time left in the auction, but at the moment I am definitely regretting the price I paid for my 99041! The irony is the poly coat on the newer model is likely better.

Well that guy sold on Gun Broker for $835, so my price, seeing before buying and no additional fees ain't too bad. Looks like the answer to the question (at least with the market right now) is anything under $800.

They need $200 in aftermarket parts to make the trigger nice, then also sights

Looks like the used one on GB mentioned in a prior reply sold for $925.00. I wonder if I could get more for mine which is new in the box?

A quick polish of all the touchy feely parts inside and a 13lb 3pc spring kit will virtually cut both DA/SA in 1/2. I have 99021 that is smooth as butter, DA is under just 8lbs and the SA is just under 4lbs with polishing and this spring set up. Runs 100% in just over 1100rnds since new like this. Better sights are always better. I gave 560 cash for mine NIB at the LGS in 2016. And you guys with the weight issue IWB, try a reinforced belt, polymer or stainless reinforcement. Makes a world of difference.
