Wow, very nice. The black one looks like it has a shorter trigger pull.
I was an ass and got myself banned.

I like the green one.  Those grips and the green finish really go together.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

The Black P01 has the Reach Reduction Kit (RRK) installed, which does move the position of the trigger back a bit by design.

Nice job on the P-01s. After you get a chance to shoot them I would be very interested to hear your thoughts about the RRK and 11.5# hammer spring vs the 15# hammer spring. With the other components of the builds being so similar it should be a great chance to do a side by side comparison. Let us know what you think. Have fun at the range!

i?ve had some set up identical to these in the past.....

The OD Geen DA pull is a bit stiffer on the 15# main with the associated longer trigger pull and a longer take-up in SA. Look at as an improved stock trigger and action.

The RRK and Ultra-Lite Kit (11.5# main) on the Black make for a lighter trigger pull and virtually no take-up other than what I set it up for. SA is a bit lighter than the OD set up as well with very little take-up or over travel due to the adjustability of the trigger. Much more a custom feel & set-up.

That is exactly what I was expecting. Thanks for the reply and now I know how to proceed with my P-01. Looking for a more custom feel with the lighter pull and little take-up and over travel.

Very nice P-01s, I really like that OD Green!  :-* The only thing I would change are the grip screws, really don't belong imo.

Have you had good luck with the CZC 14 lb recoil springs? I've tried the CGW version and it did not last long at all.

I can only speak to the non-colored one?s CZC used to sell, I?m not sure if they changed manufacturing or just colored the same springs to define the various weights. They were a bit more ridged than the CGW piano wire recoil springs......and yes I had very good luck with the CZC springs. I?ve also used Wolff (www.gunsprings.com ) replacement springs with excellent results as well.

I get why CZC & CGW color the springs, BUT....really don?t care for all the paint flakes that creates during use and then having to clean the insides of the gun is a bit of a pain.....so anymore I use the Wolff springs, with no paint  ;D

Thank you. I too do not like the paint flakes which seem to be never ending. I'll give the Wolff springs a try. It's good to know other 14 lb springs may last longer.
