I recently moved to a smaller house, three car garage to a two car garage. And now I don't have the space for a loading bench like I had before. So a little consolidation is in order and the Herters Super Model 3 (it couldn't catch a primer to save it's soul) needs to be retired as well as a Lee Challenger (it was bought only for it's ability to catch primers, nearly 100%). If you haven't caught on, I hate stepping on spent primers. I'd rather step on a Lego than a spent primer!
I've been looking for a new single stage press, and one that catches nearly 100% of the spent primers. I came across the Redding Big Boss 2 and from what I can gather it catches a very high percentage of spent primers, or it is worthless in that category.
Does anyone have experience with the Redding Big Boss 2 press and it's ability to catch primers? If so, what is your opinion of the Big Boss 2?
Thank you in advance for your input.
