LOK Checkered Diamond vs VZ Tactical Diamond
« on: September 16, 2019, 07:32:49 PM »
I want to have more aggressive grips for my CZ P-01 Omega and the LOK grenades, while a good middle ground, are not aggressive enough for me (and I'm bored of them lol). I think the diamond pattern that both these companies offer both seem grippy and look great. Which is better from your experience? Also a side note, is the VZ grips truly black? My LOKs were a little on the pale side and I kind of like an actual black on black look.

I have the Palm Swell Bogies on one of my P-01's. They are definitely aggressive enough. I really like them.

I have VZ "Diamondbacks" in black on an all stainless DW, PM-9. Love the aggressive texture and they are coal black in color and they are not flat black.

I didn't like the cocobolo grips on my 75B so I ordered VZ tactical diamonds. They lack any palm swell, so they were grippier but no longer gave me that awesome CZ fit, and my accuracy suffered. The LOK palm swell diamonds are a much better fit for me than the flat VZ's.

I think the palm swells are probably objectively better for shooting/accuracy but I personally like the flatter grips since I carry this gun IWB.

VZ makes a great palm swell also. Have them in Diamondback on an SP-01 Shadow Orange. Great feel and grippiness!

Do all the palm swell grips duplicate the thickness of the factory palm palm swell grips?  I like the feel of the factory rubber grips on my P-01, but they are a little too thick for my small-medium hands and make for a trigger reach that's a little too long.  I tried some thin G-10 grips (Cool Hand), but they feel too thin.  is there an intermediate ("goldilocks") thickness palm swell available from any of the G-10 vendors?

Etsy.com has grips that'll work on CZ75s and some clones. Not Jerichos, Baby eagle, or Uzi eagle. They bolt on differently. They're cheaper than most. I've bought many things from etsy never had a complaint.
