New Grips! Armanov SpidErgo
« on: November 03, 2019, 10:52:31 PM »
About two months ago Armanov came out with the a new grip they initially called the 3d spyder grips, which were quickly renamed to the SpidErgo grips. By chance, at the same time I was looking for grips with more grippiness, the Armanov grips were announced. I bought a pair the first week they came out and once they arrived I instantly knew these would slowly replace my other CZ grips - they're just that good.

I've always liked the ergos of the factory rubber grips and the lok bogies, but had a preference for aluminum and really liked the thin aluminum grips, but with all the thin grips there's no actual "grip". These SpidErgo grips are the perfect combination. They're extremely grippy and the palm swells are just right. They fit my hands perfectly and feel great. I haven't come across any other grip with these features of aluminum, comfort, and a really sticky grip.

If you're looking for new grips, I'd strongly suggest checking out the SpidErgo's, they're an excellent choice.

Nice, i am curious what the total width measurement is at the widest part of the palm swell. I am considering picking up a pair but i am unclear on the width in comparison to some of the other palm swell grips available.

Thank you for the pics and the video.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Do they make them for compacts?

The ARMANOV logo on these ruins it for me. Ew. So why aluminum over G10?

No. Armanov being a competition focused European company, I doubt they see the benefit of compact grips for the US market. I'm fairly certain all their other grip options are full-size only.

bummer.  Tried thin G10 grips but too thin so I went back to the OEM.  but would like to try something in-between.

I hesitated buying the first pair due to the logo. I'm not one to have company advertisements on my firearms. That said, I've since accepted the logo because the grips are better than anything else I've tried.

I prefer the weight and metal texture over G10. These are sharper/grippier than lok and vz - that may be a characteristic of metal vs G10 - I don't know...

Beautiful grips, and it sounds like they are of a very high quality, but I agree with others....the logo ruins it.  I would definitely have to fill in the letters with a matching paint or something to make them less noticeable.

They remind me of the CZ-Custom micro-pocket grips.

Off topic, but what is the finish you have on that Orange CZ to the right?

but I assume they are the same thickness as the OEM rubber grips?  or do they offer an intermediate thickness also?

Does anyone know whether these grips are also compatible with the CZ 85 model?  Based on the picture in the initial post, it looks like the one with Gold grip might be a CZ 85, but I'd like to make sure before buying.

Thanks!
