85B Back Sight Higher than Front Sight?

Ever since I had my CZ it has been shooting low. Today, I got really frustrated, and for the first time I looked at the sights. As it turns out, the top of the back sight is 1/16th inch higher than the top of the front sight. Why is this? This is why the gun was shooting low.

What can I do to fix this?

CZ offers different height sights for people to adjust to their preference. If you pop it off there should be a number on the bottom, and can adjust from there

In general, taller rear sight should bring your shot groups up not down. What type of sight picture are you using/prefer? What type of sights? Is your grouping consistent and low? If it is just a recent purchase, might just try concentrating on trigger control fundamentals or adjusting your sight picture to more of a “combat hold”...IE, if 3 dots align the dots so center (front) dot is covering your desired point of impact. This is probably the most common sight picture for most factory combat/defensive handguns. Swapping to a shorter front sight or even taller rear could help.

Factory sights. When the three dots are in line my shots are low. I think shoot with my middle sight is just below the bullseye.

My other pistols, Glocks, S&W have front and rear sights that are the same height.

Ok ok gotcha. Then yeah as Arg211 mentioned above you can swap sights out for different heights. Might want to give Dawson Precision a call and bet they can hook you up

May want to get some pics of your target and what distance and they can go from there to get you dialed in.

I second the Dawson precision sights.  Put some on my 85B last fall.
