Great point. I'll explain.
Before I started, I used my dial caliper to measure the radius of the trigger sweep using the stock trigger. I then began heating, straightening and checking angles between pivot hole, trigger bar hole, and length. I tried the trigger in the gun a few times. I needed to either change the angle forward a few degrees or shorten the trigger by bending the bottom or just shorten it overall. I decided to change the angle. I put it in my vise and forgot to add support to the pin holes. I heated, attempted the angle change, and the pin holes collapsed. It was junk at that point.
It will work done properly. It felt great in the gun. I was happy with the triggers I changed for my CZ guns prior to this experiment, I just wanted to see if I could do it as I love the flat Geissele SSA in my one AR.
I did not take pictures of the destroyed trigger nor did I save it.
