I’m literally selling guns to buy 300 blackout target and self defense ammo! >:( A friend of mine said he’d let me use his reloading tools if I bought the supplies but we can’t even find supplies. :-\

It's insane, 9mm target ammo going for $600 delivered for 1000rds on Gunbroker.
CZ Shadow 2 Orange, S2 black and blue. Three polished stainless 75b's and a black 75b all with MCARBO kits and front Dawson FO. CZ75b Retro.

Yeah, I just paid $525 delivered for 500 rounds of 300 blackout target ammo. And that was a “good” deal...

dont know if you have any 22LR,

but when things settle down you may want to consider a 22.   And then load up on some ammo.

I have an old Winchester Model 275 pump action .22 magnum that my dad accidentally shot me with as a child.  ;D It’s a sweet little shooter too.

when things settle down, i would find/buy some type of 22LR and load up on ammo.  When things like this happen, and this is not the first and it wont be the last (hint hint), then you will have something to go bang and have some fun.

Stack it up high enough, and it obscures ones view of the ammo prices going up - Shooters Proverb #372   ;D

Not worried about ammo. I just need primers to come back. I only have about 6 months supply left.

Primers won't be readily available until well after ammo is back on shelves.

If I didn’t have a decent reserve of 9mm target ammo, it would be cheaper to shoot my 10mm.

Man, it’s crazy to think 9mm is more than 10mm.

Man, it’s crazy to think 9mm is more than 10mm.

My shooting buddies used to give me grief about shooting "expensive" .357Sig. Now .45ACP is priced higher. I had just finished all the changes I wanted to do to my 97BD and was getting pretty good with it. Now if I can find .45, it is more than .357Sig at most places. Insane. I was lucky to get 1,000 rounds of 9mm from SGAMMO before priced went through the roof. I have plenty of JHP in 9mm, .357Sig, and .45ACP, but I am not shooting any of them. All I have been doing is shooting my newly acquired 455 in .22lr. To heck with the rest. I have not even considered buying another handgun due to ammo issue.
