This is their modified lever, they modify it for the 97. it doesn’t fit close to the frame. I’ve seen others CGW 97 that they are flush.. am I missing something? It’s in as far as it will go. Not modified correctly for the 97? This looks like crap.

No it’s in the groove. It just looks like it’s not right for this gun look at this picture. The part past the lever is too thick. https://i.imgur.com/sPEBLowl.jpg[/img]]

Looks like you need to pull the safety detent and spring back to let the safety fully seat into the frame.

I would email them the pics. Worth a thousands words as they say.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

I returned it, I don’t see it fitting tight against the frame. Maybe someone can make it work , but it did drop in and function fine, I didn’t like the way the lever stuck out vs the stock lever. I called Cajun and the guy there wasn’t  too helpful, I get that it’s more of a thing he would have to see to comment on my issue, I didn’t want to waste any more time on it.

This!

The safety will hang up just before fully seating.  The safety detent needs to be pulled back to allow the safety to fully seat flush.

Cheers,
Toby

Yeah, gotta use a little pick, or small jeweler's screwdriver blade to push that detent to the rear far enough to let the inside enlarged section of the shaft slide past it so it can pop back forward into the center groove and hold the safety in place.  Just like the CZ75Bs (or even the CZ85s and CZ85Bs.

Patience, observation, going slow and asking questions can make things easier.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

If you look at the safety groove then the metal part after you will notice the one on the left is thicker after the groove. Then in the other picture with it installed you will see there is no way it can go in any further because it hits the internals. It’s not the lever for the safety holding it up, it’s the thickness after the groove.

Did you ever end up resolving this or possibly even get an explanation from CGW? I can't even see an extended safety listed on their site for the 97B (and I very much want one).
