Stuck P01 sear cage....

Did this a few weeks ago - no hitches.

Got the decocker OUT of the gun, and took out the little round plate that holds the sear cage pin in. I CANNOT move the pin that holds the cage in AT ALL - won't budge.  Normally you can start it out with a tiny bit of pressure with your slave pin - it won't move - even  when taping with a hammer.

I would jiggle the parts in the Sear Cage around a bit with a pointed metal probe to free things up. Then brace the psitol frame on something real steady and tap the pin out with a steel punch and hammer or drive in the slave pin.

I hate to ask because I know you've done this before but you are trying to remove the sear cage pin from right (ejection port side) to left? I've never had one stick that way seems pretty strange.

Gents:  Thanks again - got it out.  Yes from the right tom the left.  Doh!  I had to jiggle and tapped with a punch.  It was just tough lining all up.  Last time I was able to do it with hand pressure on the slave pin. 

Now I'm snake bitten for the way back!
