Czechpoint vz.58 trigger improvement
« on: May 03, 2021, 03:24:32 PM »
So I'm looking for ways to make my trigger a lighter and more smooth (there's a little bit of mush on it). Searching through this fourm, it seems like my options are to replace the FCU with the Bonesteel one, or to polish the trigger parts myself.
Questions I have are:

-Does polishing the Czechpoint/CSA trigger and FCU improve the trigger pull? And detriments to removing the coatings on it?
-Is the Bonesteel FCU a noticeable improvement over the Czechpoint/csa? Would I get the same improvment from just polishing it myself?

Zendl disconnector might improve the mush.  That's primarily trigger/disconnector to sear connection.

Pull weight is primarily sear spring (the leaf spring) to striker and the striker to sear interface.

Forced March in stickies might still be offering a trigger job service.  Last I knew it was in beta a couple years -- don't know where that's at currently/where the demand was for it...

I installed a CNC Warrior FCG in my D-technik and the result was a lower pull weight by 1 pound. I also had all the FCG components coated in ArmorLube (prior to install), a coating that increases lubricity and eliminates the need for a lubricant.
