I just noticed that CGW has a tool kit. This should be helpful for some of those that are new to working on CZs.

Nice set. The starter punch is an absolute must have to change the hammer and disconnector.

Be nice if they made something similar to Eemann Tech’s tool for holding the TRS during install.  It’s a little aluminum stick with a C-shape cut out on the end that the TRS coil fits into.  Be easier than using needle nose pliers.

True, but the slave-pin method requires a lot of dis-assembly of the gun.  Easier when in the field (i.e. at a match) to use a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the TRS in place in conjunction with a punch  through the trigger pin hole works pretty well and you don’t run the risk of losing small parts while working at a Safety Area table (i.e. right side detent)

It is a neat tool and 2morechains makes a valid point about working in the field. $30.00 + Shipping for the tool over a modified pair of pliers was a tough sell for me when it came out, so i passed.

I made my own custom tool for the TRS - a 1/4" wide scrap of wood with a notch cut in the end to push the spring down. Cost all of $0.00.
