The things I like about a metal frame CZ pistol:
They fit my hand really well, probably better than anything else I've held. I actually like the P01s slightly better (same design/angles but the grooves in the frames just make it feel better to me.
They are accurate. Some more than others. Like anything else there are differences one to the next. Different trigger feels, different accuracy, some shoot one kind of ammo better/worse than a seemingly identical pistol.
They are tough and reliable. I had a 9MM case separate at the base of the case walls, eject the base, leave the case walls in the chamber. Didn't even know it till the next round failed to feed and chamber. Lots of extra powder residue in the chamber/frame/magazine well and the top rounds in the magazine were really dirty/blackened. Dug the case walls out of the chamber, inserted the magazine and kept on shooting it, no problems. Got pictures of it, too. Had it been a plastic framed pistol I might have had damage to my hand/fingers and lost the pistol/frame (as we see pictures of that sometimes on the internet.)
I like the availability of parts. Not just the seemingly big three of CZ USA (factory parts), CZ Custom (factory and custom upgrade parts) and Cajun Gun Works (factory and custom upgrade parts) but you can get custom springs, sights, grips, etc. from several other makers.
And there are a lot of folks here that work on and upgrade their CZ pistols. They make videos of how to disassemble/reassemble them, fit upgraded parts, polish internal surfaces to smooth out the action, etc.
