I figured you had to jump in - and you are fine to do so...
There is a used P226 in the shop right now - that I really don't need - and it has a superb DA trigger. $600. (It was never cleaned). I can spend another $50 and put a SR Kit on it and have a reset that is a fraction of the CZ (even Cajunized). The SA is also nice. Sure, I have felt SIG DA/SA's that aren't great. Usually the MK 25s and M11s with their phosphated internals are gritty from that process. I have felt Legions that aren't that great. Most standard SIG DA/SAs I've felt are better than the Legions I've handled. Odd.
However, some easy polishing work makes them nice.
But having bought several CZs - P guns, P01s, etc. I can attest that most are gritty, and most stack - some horribly. You can cover it up with light springs and polishing, and the decocker is not trivial work. CZ-UB trigger QC is very lacking.
IF you happen upon one at a gunshow or shop that has a good trigger, you MAY be able to get by with some shooting and polishing. You will still have a long reset and the camming SA trigger - all can be acceptable for many shooters. But of you want a really good trigger, it will cost $200-300 and your labor to make it all work. So.. that is a $700-900 gun.
What you CAN end up with with a CZ is a SHORT and light DA that makes the gun VERY shootable and CGW can make the SA very good. And they become VERY shootable and the P01 is a great reliable design otherwise. They SHOOT!
