The bar tip was "peened" or the plastic around the hole was "peened?"
I know, I know, the reply from CZ USA didn't specify. Years ago I had an issue with two plastic pins holding the trigger assembly in the frame of a 10/22 coming out. Falling out really, when I was trying to clean the rifle. I installed them, laid the rifle down on a solid surface to support the left side of the pins. Then I used a center punch and small hammer to swell the right sight of the pins. Then I flipped it over and did the same for the left side of the pins . Zero issues with the pins falling out after that.
So, I've wondered about using a punch to mash the area around a hole in the frame. I haven't done it. Just wondered about it. Of course, the other side of that is putting some rough surfaces on the ends of pins that hold parts in the frame if you're having an issue with them moving. Haven't had to do that yet.
OP, hope it works and keeps working for you.
