For my P-01 I have a Galco Fed Paddle that was made for the sig P229.  It fits real well and the retention is adjustable so thats a plus.  It is also a roto paddle so you can put it at whatever cant you like.

In responce to stdlrf11 and others, If you want a good fobus holster, the model number must be RU97. The HK1 doesnt fit the P01 correctly and there isnt enough retention. Fobus updated their holster usage chart and the RU97 has (fits the ruger 9 series) a much better fit and retention. I bought the HK1 from Gander Mountain and wasnt happy with it after about a week. I called Fobus to see if I could exchange the HK1 for the RU97 and they said "not a problem, your return authorization number is......" The whole process took 10 business days and I am alot happier now.
If others have this problem and dont abosolutely need their fobus holster, this would be the way to go. The cost for me to ship the holster back to Fobus was only $1.78.
I hope this helps those of you that have or are looking at the Fobus holsters.

I just got a Bianchi Model 7500 paddle holster for my P01. The gun fits perfect. It's a multi-position carry and adjusts for draw angle, draw height and can be used strong side or crossdraw. It's a closed end holster and the barrel fits right up to the end and the trigger is covered. Also on the package it says size 11.
Wish I could post a pic but I'm a computer idiot and don't know how to do that.:lol
On the list above this may be the same holster you have listed that says --Bianchi--paddle--HK compact

Don Hume - H715 M NO. 36-4" - IWB - CZ 75 compact 40S&W
I believe this is for Glock 19/23.
It is leather with metal spring clip.

Don Hume - H715 M NO. 26F-4.5 - IWB - CZ 75 Compact 9mm
I believe is for a Beretta Cougar 8000/8040/8045.
It is leather with metal clip.

Both picked up at a gun show and checked for fit.
A good place to pick up Don Hume leather holsters is  WWW.GUNNERSALLEY.COM

Could we have a sticky for this please?  Finding a holster for the P01 is such a pain, and this is the only decent database of holsters that fit it.

I just received my Galco M5X Matrix holster yesterday. I am still adjusting the tension screws to get the retention I want.

It sits much closer to the body, and conceals much better than a Fobus, and it provides good retention. For $23, it is a great paddle holster.

The store that sold me my P01 had no holsters, so a quick trip to my favorite gun store netted me a very comfortable DeSantis "Cozy Partner" model 028 to fit a Sig 226. (The holster is labeled "028 M9") The fit, holding power and protection for the gun is excellent. This is a closed end, inside the belt, adjustable pinch, leather holster that is extremely comfortable and very well made.

http://www.desantisholster.com/028.html

My only complaint about the design is the DeSantis method of belt retention involves 2 leather straps, rather than the more common metal clip. These loose straps go under the belt (at the same time you are sliding the holster inside the rear of your pants), then the loops fold around the outside of the belt and snap back at the top. It is very hard to install without almost getting dressed with the holster. So much so that for a quick 45 min walk with my wife I usually use another holster. However, for any wear longer than 2 hours the comfort is well worth it.

This is definitely all-day on-duty cop gear, not casual wear.

Addendum

In finding this holster the clerk and I went through maybe 30 holsters. On form-fitting holsters we noted that you must only consider holsters for full rail, mid-sized, auto-loaders. The Sig 226 and Glock slide release levers are flush stampings, so their kydex types won't work with the P01's protruding slide release, but some leather holsters for the 226 will. You simply have to try.

The Fabos RU-97 works well.
It's a little longer than the Fabos HK-1.
I have no problems, even with the Crimson Laser Grips.
Not too bad for plastic.

If you want an inexpensive inside-the-waist-band holster, try the Uncle Mike's Sidekick "Inside the Pants" with Velcro retention (size #15). Make sure to buy the one with retention. The non-retention version sits the gun up higher and I find myself touch checking the gun far too often. The retention version is safe and secure and gives peace of mind. I like wearing it at the small of the back where it is comfortable for standing and walking, but makes me sit bolt upright in the car.

The outside lower corners of the holster's plastic clip are sharp and will rub upholstery. I filed the sharp corners to a smooth blunt edge. Don't know why Uncle Mike's sells them with sharp corners. They should have picked up on that trait with field testing.

I made a correction.  It is size #15 that you want for the P01.

Thanks for the info and all the pics. I'm really interested in the Galco M5X Matrix, seems to be really good for the price. Can we get this stickied? This is a fantastic reference! Anyone have any experience with the Bianchi 7001? Looks like a good no-nonsense holster, as I do not have my CCW permit yet, I will be carrying open- if at all (mostly hiking and out and about during the weekend). Any thoughts on this particular holster?

The Bianchi 7001 is a good holster. I use one similiar (only with the duty-belt attachment) for my dept. issued SIG 226 when I'm at the range. As with most holsters, one sized for the Glock 19 or Sig 226/229 should work, but I can't guarantee it will. I can definitely recommend the M5X. stdlrf11
