Official CZF Holster Thread: Post Your CZ Holsters.
« on: August 04, 2010, 08:30:24 PM »
Hello guys and gals.

It's nice to see all of the CZs being bought this Summer, so I thought it might be helpful to create
a place for holster pics, and related carry gear.

I'll start first.

Maker: High Noon Holsters

Model: Slide Guard- CZ 2075 RAMI

Material: Horsehide in natural finish.

HN's  Double Take magazine pouch in natural finish.

Comment: Fast, but secure for all day wear.
Most comfortable holster I've ever worn!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maker: High Noon Holsters

Model: Under Taker -CZ Compact Pistols

Material: Horsehide in natural finish

Comment: Very comfortable way to carry for all day wear or that quick trip to Wal-Mart.
Same extreme quality and craftsmanship as other HN products.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maker: High Noon Holsters

Model: TOPLESS -CZ Compact P-01/P-06

Material: Horsehide in natural finish

Comment: Will also fit PCR and CZ Compacts, ect.
Secure, but easy to draw from, even with the slightly wider P-06.

--------------

I hope you like this so far. I'll be posting P-07 duty and other holster pics later on.

Looking forward to seeing the P-07 holster.  I've got one from High Noon (a slide guard) that should be arriving soon (at least I hope it's soon).

I made this during the summer for my son's CZ Vz 82.  I fired his and loved it, so I got one for Christmas . . . just haven't had time to start a holster for mine, yet.

Thanks - my son says he prefers it to the ones he bought - but it could be he is being nice to the old man to guarantee he gets my guns when I kick off!

He'll not get my Scotch . . .(actually, I prefer 12 year old Jameson's) because I'll finish it off before I croak!  I stopped smoking so the Cubans are all gone . . .  the gun safe . . . its full, so, yeah, that is probably what he has his eye on!   :D

Good looking holsters!   I just ordered a pair of c-clips with the thought of making a "tuckable" IWB.  Are yours kydex or leather?  I plan to use leather for the part that is frequently done in Kydex.

Those are kydex back with leather. The Kydex makes reholstering much easier IMHO. I made the clips too.....after a few I had to toss out it became very easy to make them.

Nope not Horsehide.....cowhide from the local Tandy leather store but you can get horsehide Horse leather here.

The metal is chicago screws. It takes some time and patience and a few failures. After a while they just keep getting better. I really like making them now.

recoilguy is absolutley right - my first attempt actually worked . . . but looked terrible.  Every try got dramatically better - to the point that I am proud of what I now make, enjoy the process, and expect the next to be even better, thanks to advice I got from Shadow Warrior in another thread (thanks, Shadow W!)  If I can do it, it isn't rocket science!
