Why does nobody make aluminum grips for the CZ-82?
« on: March 09, 2011, 03:02:11 PM »
If someone were to make a set of aluminum grips for the CZ-82, the grip thick would be reduced to about an inch. That would really help with concealability.

A decent number of people carry CZ-82's, so why doesn't a product like this exist?

It's called supply and demand. No demand--no supply.

My big ham hands like the original grips, and love the Grips4U walnut grips I got for Christmas!  I don't want them any thinner!

I would be willing to bet that if such grips were supplied, they would sell.

Coaltrain i couldn't agree more.  The days of wood only for the 82/83 are long gone.  I'd take thinner profile just because it would make it a better carry gun than it already is.

Exactly. There's probably a market for this.

The thing to do is find a manufacturer that does make aluminum grips and have members of this forum start sending emails asking about grips for the CZ 82.  That seems to have worked with Hogue.
