Amen to what Walt said. In North Carolina, the county sheriff has a great deal of discretion in issuing a standard handgun permit. Depending on which of the 100 counties in NC you reside in, the process can be simple or onerous  in my County it has always been a hassle. But not now Baby! I now have a NC concealed handgun permit, which allows you to buy as many handguns as you want any time you want  no waiting. I bought my first CZ  a 75B  from Ron Falk off the classified section of this board (very satisfactory transaction by the way) on an impulse. Sent Ron a check and a week later walked into my transfer FFLs shop and walked out 10 minutes later with a sweet 75B. Im lusting after a 97B now  this NCCHP is going to bankrupt me!

Fired 200 rounds of WWB today.  I had only 1 malfunction which I think was due to a defective cartridge, not the gun.  The slide would not close on the cartridge, but I discarded the cartridge and had no problems the rest of the day.  

I did notice that a few times after inserting a loaded magazine, the trigger pull felt very gritty on the next pull.  However, this seemed to clear up after a few magazines.  I think the gun just needed to "break in".  Anyone else have something like this happen?
