I was at a gunshow recently and saw this on a table and picked it. I fell in love with it, it's slim, light, holds 10rd vs my g27's 9rds, clean and seamingly low round count, fit perfectly in my hands, and the best part a $290 out the price tag I couldn't resist (plus it's a .40). Its an amazing gun once you work the trigger a bit and practice with it.

7/1/13 Purchase date
1995 Manufactured date
0047-Z Serial #
.40 S&W

This gun is one of the first. It is a prototype gun I was told.  Its been sitting on a shelf in Czech Republic for the last 17 years.  Instead of the cocking block by the ejection port it has a loaded chamber indicator.

Hello. New to CZ100 ownership. Held one in CA back in 2000/2001? Wanted it then based on grip. Never got around to it until Nov 2016. Lol. 15 years later. Guns are like girls. Still wondering if they got it years later. Lol

Anyways... I own mostly all polymer CZ's I have da/SA and a DAO P-09.

I felt I needed the CZ100

Bought two in a week!

1. A601X
Born 1996

2.C240X
Born 2000

Not far apart in years and yet so different

1. Fixed euro sight
No loaded chamber indicator
Solid trigger guard

2. Target sight(noticed they grind the rear of slide off. Ugh
Has loaded chamber indicator. I like!
Cut out trigger guard with front serrations. Nice!

Lol. I wonder if I can find a new one(post C serial number) with fixed sight! That would be perfect!

Lol. I'm entirely too excited about this controversial CZ. I wish i had one in its heyday, and with the timing of Internet in our lives. I was still living in a barracks in 2001 when I learned about em. Didn't even own a PC. My paychecks went to beer. Lol

I am loving these 100's more each day. I can't stop taking them apart and seeing how the internals work.

Yes...I'm adding to an OLD thread, but I feel obligated to add to the repository of information on the CZ 100.

Found a used CZ 100 at a gun show with ONE (1) "RED" (notorious) magazine, no box.

S/N:  A99xx
Year: 1998
Caliber:  .40 S&W

It had been left dry, so I cleaned, oiled and greased it before taking to the range.

It shot surprisingly well considering the reputation.

The long trigger pull and reset took a bit of getting used to.
Trigger was a little gritty on take-up (think project work!).
Could only fit 7 rounds (with difficulty) into the 10 round mag.  Plan on ordering a couple of the newer mags.

Shot about 100 rounds, had 1 FTE, 1 stovepipe and one time the slide didn't lock back, but otherwise a nice gun to add to the collection!

Now I'd like to find a CZ110 in .40 S&W.

Congrats! Good luck finding a CZ 110 as I can?t find any information about any of them getting imported into the U.S. (unless you don?t live here).

I need to add to this thread as well, since I purchased a .40 model last year as well.

I was hoping to find good DIY information in this sub-board to work on the CZ 100 trigger, but practically all of the photos no longer display and the external links are busted.

I?ve never done any trigger work on any of the three I?ve bought, but I?m a weird one according to Armoredman. Trigger doesn?t bother me in spite of the overtravel, and the pull weight on all of them has been right at 8.5#.

Bought mine in 1996...
A19XX
96

Although I made peace with the long trigger-pull of the CZ 100, I would like to know how the to reduce the distance of the trigger-pull and if it is possible at all? I have not yet consulted with a professional gun smith...

Anyway - Safe Shooting all!

Original owner CZ100 here. Bought in 1998 in California.
B06. 40 S&W
I have put probably 400 rounds thru this thing. Never misfired. Had to get used to the trigger compared to my Glock and Hk, but I love it.

Question I have is where can I get magazines for it?
About to take my firearm course for my CCW for Los Angeles County and they want multiple magaxines. Several years ago, my extra ones were stolen by an old room mate.

Thanks

.

Since my post on this thread I have added 2 more 10 rd magazines for my CZ-100 in .40 S&W:  another RED follower and a non-RED modern manufacture.  The RED one I found at a gun show and the modern from Mec-Gar.

I checked this morning and Mec-Gar and another are OUT OF STOCK.

I did find the following link offering the .40 mag, but the website doesn't give any in/out of stock advisory.  Clicking on Add to Cart seems to go forward, so maybe you're in luck.
