I was wondering just how many CZ's are out there? and if possible how many CZ 100's in particular.

There is power in numbers and if we could get a hold of some production statistics, then we could use this as leverage and maybe get some reputable gun accessory companies to start carrying a CZ100 range as well!!!

We could also see if CZ's manufactured from the same time or batch have similar traits etc.

perhaps we could give the first 3 digits of the serial no.  as well as the year stamp on the slide and calibre.
year: 96
serial: A42
cal: 9mmP

best regards,
CZZA

I was thinking about this because I have seen a little participation of CZ-100 owners in this and other gun forum. It gets a little scary to think that we are only few wise human being who owns this gun.

mine is

year:1999
serial:B90
cal:9mm

People were realy excited when Handguns showed a sneak at the CZ-110.

The Cz100 gets little attention, due to it's DAO design.
MY PROBLEM IS WITH THE Trigger's long RESET.

i think i've figured out a remedy.. giving a shorter and hopefully lighter pull.

So, i guess that those of us with the 100s will just keep
the secret to ourselves.

The Cz-100 is picking up speed. The higer cost of Glocks
and all. Unlike the Glocks..you can buy Cz hi-caps for less than $100

I have shot many guns but this is the first one I saw that I wanted to own for personal use. I read this board over the past few months and got a good feeling about the reliability of CZ's. Now I own one.

ezop,:)
What's the secret of getting a shorter and lighter pull on the CZ100? I'm in the process of buying (read trying to buy) a slightly used CZ100 and would like to know if I should get the trigger fixed when I get it.:)
thanks for any good info.:)

Sincerely,
checker:)

Kev is trying to sort out a solution for  shorter pull.  There is no secret to lighter pull.  The main spring is is designed to insure that there are no light strikes.  If you wish you can try to find a spring that is not quite as hard to pull or you can cut a few rounds off your present spring.  Neither is advised as then you get into reliability problems.
